  • I found out before going to bed after having a hard day. I'm extremely depressed to hear of this. I never knew him personally. I have read his biography and watch interview clips of him. I myself am a musician. I'm a huge fan of Springsteen and the E street band. The sound they had was amazing. I was fortunate to see them live before Fercidi passed. I'm a guitar player singersongwriter. I am very much influenced by their sound especially Clarence sax. I put sax in my songs thanks to his sound.

  • Hearing of his death was sad enough. Finding out on this clip that he appeared on American Idol with Lady Gaga leaves me clinically depressed.

  • I listened to "Born To Run" to pay tribute to Clemons.

  • I've recently have become a Bruce Springsteen band and fell in love with Bruce and Clarence! I was very excited to know they we're still touring and was hoping to see them in 2012! I am very depressed over this news that my dreams of seeing them both will not come true now. This is just how I feel over not being able to see Queen live, because Freddie Mercury passed away at too young of an age. In my opinion, so did Clarence! R.I.P Mr. Clemons! I'll miss you!!

  • Many years ago I was lucky enough to have seen the E Street Band live. Of all the members of this band, I feel it was Clarence Clemons that really stood out. He was blessed with a wonderful talent, and that talent would bring out the fire in the other members. When Clarence played, people listened. What they heard would almost always bring them to their feet.

Clarence Clemons will be missed greatly.

  • I remember I saw Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band a couple years back in Greensboro, NC with my dad, and my dad said that Clarence Clemons would probably be sitting in his "Grandpa Chair", as he called it, so he wouldn't move around too much. But for that one show, The Big Man decided he would stand and play, and he was movin' and jumpin' with Bruce. I'll never forget that show. R.I.P. Big Man, You'll be sorely missed.
