I didnt take his first song as being hard. I think this song (coffee shop) just shows his versatility as an artist. I mean many rappers have done the same thing. Pac did the gangsta rap and the conscious rap in Brenda's Got a Baby/Keep Ya Head and the Soft Dear Mama/Letter to My Unborn Child. This is what seperates real artist from the imitators, there ability to be versatile. This is just my opinion though.
