I have to weigh in on this one. It really is a great song. Like many others I came to this having heard it on 'The L Word' but why do we have to put up with Melissa butchering it? She's done some great stuff as an artist but really, this is like a poor high school glee club concert. Long pauses and tortured head shakes do not add pathos, just melodrama. Leave it to the original Joan Armatrading version
