The sound a twin engine like this deserves. I first thought that only Arrow could make a good-sounding pipe for this bike, but it looks like Jardine is right there with them.

I have Arrow with silencer removed; sounds MEAN!!! My Ninja sounds as good as my Sportster 1200 with Stage 2 Screaming Eagle.. Every aftermarket slip on is WAY BETTER and LIGHTER than the stock, plus brings some ponies .I think the sound is a personal preference, as well as the look with different pipes. But for sure- the car drivers HEAR us with these pipes, not like the sewing machine that was the stock muffler...Ride safe!

@fokus84 An ER6-F is the European Version of the Ninja 650r, as far as I know they are Identical... I have a Ninja 650r and it looks Identical to mine, except color of course. Mine is a '08.

So how do you like this exhaust so far ? I was thinking of picking up one of these bikes and most of the exhaust systems I see have these big cans sticken out the side! thats the only one that actually sits in the same spot as the old system !

@asmith929 The exhaust is awesome! i had it for 13,000 miles. though, I was T-boned and the bike was totaled. it got smashed up pretty bad.. but even after the wreck, it still fired up and sounded great! haha! I highly recommend this exhaust. i love the look it had. and the customer service was awesome! i had a weld break after warrenty and they stiff fixed it!! you can't get better service than that!

@Tracti0nAction Thanks! well this is my first bike and i wouldn't go back (if i could) and change it! 600s are quite a lot different then the 650s. i recommend the 650r ninja as a first bike. but it's totally up to you. just do research on forums. that's what i did! I couldn't see myself more satisfied with any other bike right now :)

@Tracti0nAction I have the 2009 version of this bike... its my third bike. I would say a bike like this with a twin is better than a supersport 4 cyl engine, simply because this bike has more low end torque, which will help u if u botch a shift or are taking the test and need low speed power to maneuver. Its also VERY fast for a bike of this class from 0-60 and a little past, faster than a supersport, because of this low end pull. If u plan to track your bike, u probably want to get a supersport

thay do come closed ended, but it wasn't going to work with them closed (that i could figure) so i modified them and put the bar ends on

that sucks lol! My Michelin tires are amazing!! they are great on the track and the street! i don't know much about other tires. racers told me to get the pilot powers. so i did. but i know that people tend to prefer one brand over another. good luck with those cops lol!

Does the exhaust give you an increase in hp?

yes, but the hp is not very noticeable compared to the torque increase! the stock exhaust holds back a lot of torque

i've had it roughly a month and it's doing great! i enjoy it quite a lot! and as long as you install something "properly" then everything will be fine. i don't see any reason for it to fall apart. all of the welding is great and it's a sturdy can.

Mine did... i ordered mine from a small business up north. so i don't know what you should expect. but you should get one. every exhaust that i know of comes with one.
