  • amazing!

  • Why did you quit playing..?

  • WHy would you film your first try? You're scared of negative comments so you decided to say that this is your first try?

  • @thebehmont1 Not really. I don't even care about this video lol. That was two years ago; I don't even play the guitar anymore.

  • @thebehmont1

    who the hell asked you?

  • @justice576 - Who the hell asked YOU?

  • you have a pinky you know

  • Very nicee, But the Start how your just playing one string, Your meant to play two which you probably already know, but You do reaaaaaaally Good with only using 3 fingers, Beats me with 4 by far (Y) Keep it up mate

  • Good shit...

  • lol, u cant just use two fingers

Buckethead uses all of them, probably uses his pinky most when hes playing fast..

  • @collin292:

Too bad my pinky is double jointed, crooked, and proportionately shorter than it should be. So that rules out that ability.

  • oh....soz

i think i was abit of a dickhead there,

  • Dude don't worry about it. It's cool. We all do the best we can with what we are given. In my case it is a hilariously short pinky that has a locking joint, thus inhibiting its movement lol. If I could change one thing about myself, that would be it. I want a normal pinky finger. But I have to just laugh at it. Who would think that an abnormal pinky would be that big of a deal? Guitarists. That's who.

  • @redSG Crack your pinky. I do that and it makes my pinky a bit more flexible for a little while. If your not going to use your pinky at all then you might as well try that and also stretch it more.

  • little more dist. but just a little...good job

  • Sick cover, try to get some usage out of that pinky as well. :)

  • haha, i like the 2 finger thing ur doing there. Very impressive, love it, it's awesome.

    Great Job!

  • buckethead does 3 notes on each string. it seems like ur only using 2. use more palm mutes, mixxed in with buckethead style licks. for info on those look at paul gilberts video. I also recommend using your pinky. Overall not to impressive, but this can deffently get sumewhere. also when your shredding work on tremelo picking certain poarts. it adds alot to the lick. just mess around with it and have fun. good luck

  • Thanks for your input :). I have practiced a lot since I recorded this video. Unfortunately, I cannot use my pinky. It has some kind of deformity or something. I've asked other guitarists about it and even compared pinkies and they have all said it is messed up. I think it has something to do with my fracturing it a long time ago.

  • Great TONE. Not just berzerk fuzz.

  • what the fuck!!! that was awsome dude , you rock!

    thanks for the backing track

  • very impressive

  • hey where did you get the backing track??

    please tell

  • I made it myself. The description has the link.

  • right on dude..thanks..

  • my guitar is a C.giant and the amp is to that anuy good?

  • DUDE you rock!!! you sure got my respect on guitar playing skills!

BTW i dont know shit about guitars but that i like them and im about to get one and learn from scrath so i got a questiong for you....

i've notice that not all guitars sound alike ...do you have to tune yours to make it sound like buckethead's or wassup?? feel me in plz.. i appreciate it....

  • Many aspects come into play when choosing a good guitar tone or emulating someone else's. A good start is to buy a good guitar. One of the greatest brands out there is Ibanez. Do NOT go with Gibson or Fender unless you wanna spend over a $1000 or you are vintage freak. Ibanez is where the new sound is at, and you can get a good one for $200-$500. Next comes your choice of amp. Once again, I would stay away from the expensive brands like Marshall. Go with something like Line-6 or Peavey.

  • I used to sell guitars in a music store. In my downtime I could play any guitar I wanted. The vintage Gibson/Fenders/etc were great, but I kept picking up the Ibanez's because they were just so much fun!

  • You should definately make a tutorial. =D

  • awesome dude ! a buckethead in making

  • Sounds good to me.

  • nice job dude,,you really had some of the magic nailed on parts of this..

  • Thank you, friend. :D

  • the site where i get my backing tracks has just added this great tune to its archives,,if your interested, google this. FREE GUITAR BACKING TRACKS .enjoy.

  • That is the site that I uploaded the Track to. :)

  • And another thing! Nice to hear that someone makes an high quality recording of their playing.

    Not just:

    Step 1: Turn webcam ON

Step 2: Turn the amp-volume down to 1

Step 3: Turn the original buckethead song ON

Result = Making everyone think you play better than you actually can.

  • LoL Thanks.

  • That was actually really good :D

    Great tone aswell!

Do you mind sharing that backing track? :)

  • Thank you zn4p. Sure I don't mind sharing the Backing Track. I made it yesterday before I filmed this attempt.
