That's a good question.
There are unconfirmed reports that Rahm tipped off the Feds, we'll see.
Fitz asked the Obama team to delay their internal review of contacts with Blago. This is the why Rahm has yet to comment. Obama agreed and will release it next week. Fitz will also reveal his full report of the probe later.

As a 40+ year resident in Illinois, I wonder what took so long? Pat Fritzgerald is the man! Glad Bush appointed him. I've said for years how terribly corrupted state of Illinois politics is.
