Sighs religions... I'm a roman catholic and I have not read the entire bible nor the Quran. If I am right about my religion, it promotes peace and acceptance. But if it really promotes hatred and violence, I would still remain in this religion but simply not follow its negative aspects. Sighs religions... I'm a roman catholic and I have not read the entire bible nor the Quran. If I am right about my religion, it promotes peace and acceptance. But if it really promotes hatred and violence, I would still remain in this religion but simply not follow its negative aspects. So I am really just choosing which practices to follow based on what is currently socially acceptable. I believe religion does not really influence people, but people influence religion.

My family is Muslim (not me personally) and when I saw the first part i had to go and check it. chapter 2 verse 191. i cannot read it but i asked my mother to explain it to me. all it said was if nonbelievers (of god, not of islam) try to take your land or try to fight you, you must fight back with all you can but no fighting near the mecca in saudi arabia. that doesnt sound very sinister to me....
