  • Dirty plaayer

  • Im here because it's 758 on the west coast and im watching the slam dunk contest, and kevin Hart is giving some dude from the Jazz a Karl Malone jersey. . . fuckin internet bra

  • "It was not about me. It is not about me tonight". Wow, absolute class.

  • where is like bar?

  • the mailman

  • Karl Malone, love ya man!! Such an outstanding basketball player!

  • The Mailman.

  • 2:00 she's playing on camera :)

  • Best power forward that ever played the position.

  • Greatest PF of all time

  • Karl is and always will be a beast.

  • @David85934 that is a TEAM accomplishment you idiot,it doesnt take anything away from how good he was

  • He has as many as Lebron has.

  • why the hell is the microphone always SO DAMN LOW? iversons not gonna be eligible for at least a decade

  • He told Kobe's wife he's hunting little Mexican girls. This guy is immature in a lot of ways, and he has kids.

  • wow very classy what a tremendous man and very meek and humble wow

  • True Gentleman

  • that was great speech hats go off to mail man

  • that's a hall of fame speech....take notes jordan!!!!

  • @GetAJobBro wow idiot

  • @GetAJobBro To be honest. In my opinion almost nobody deserves more to be in the Hall of Fame than Karl Malone. Nobody worked harder on himself than Karl Malone. He didn t belong to those young stars of the new NBA generation, who now earn millions playing not even half as good as Him. There are so many players, much over rated because there spectacular way of playing. But being able to dunk in a spectacular way is much easier than to make 26 Points every night.

  • Well, what is a ring. If the NBA Championships would be the creteria for the Hall of Fame many wouldn t be there. But those guys, like Patrik Ewing, John Stockton, Karl Malone, Charles Barkley ..etc.. proved during there entire career a konstant effort. Having between 25-30 Pts per game for more then 13 years is certainly a Hall of Famer.

  • @multirayful good point, especially when you count the 10s of 1000s of rebs between Malone & Barkley alone.

  • @GetAJobBro so basically what you're saying is anybody during the jordan era who played were all overrated because they didn't win a ring and don't deserve to be in the hall of fame. so the only people that deserve to be in the nba because they won a ring were the bulls, the pistons, the rockets, and the spurs? don't get me wrong, you bring up a good point. my bad for overreacting bro.

  • @GetAJobBro oh shut the fuck up. you don't know anything about basketball you dumbass. karl malone wasn't overrated. you're comments are so ignorant and useless. karl malone deserved to be in the hall of fame just as all of the ones nominated. NO RING didnt mean anything. they played hard and earned it.

  • always had a crush on karl growing up.

  • feel sorry for the player like karl molone and other guys doing great at the jordan's era

  • karl malone doesnt even look old wow

  • I would love to have dinner with karl and his family.........and i'd love to be introduced to his daughter in the white dress....she's so fine she makes me seem ugly and im fine as hell!!!

  • if he was in bulls at the time of jordan. They would have given him the rings by default. Best PF ever.

  • Karl is great. Who couldn't like the guy? He brings a great deal of honor to the sport of basketball

  • If you were a player, what would you rather be?

    1) Well known and in the hall of fame being a millionaire.

    2) Be like Brian Scalabrine and have an nba championship that you weren't a part of at all and eventually have to work another job since the NBA has no retirement benefits?

Just saying. This goes out to all the people who think rings are important. They're just icing on the cake in my opinion.

  • damn it karl! damn it! why are you such a nice guy? you should have been a top 5 all time player!

  • also a deadbeat father

  • Mailman who forgot to deliver...

Seriously though, I like his personality and competitiveness.

It takes more than a talent to win a championship. You got to have good supporting casts(not that he didn't), and a good luck.

But the greatestt uncrowned player title, for me, always goes to Pete Maravich.

  • karl malone.

  • Too bad the NBA is so rigged. Too many good players not getting rings.

  • This here Karl Malone.

  • nba first team 89,90,91,92,93,94,95,96,97,98,99, 11 years in a row

  • Couple of years ago, he told his biggest fan ever to f-off at the airport asking him for an autograph, not that cool imo.

A true story told by my collegue. Maybe that's what been an asshole gets, no rings, lmao.

  • lol bullshit

  • @fccl1 bullshit, I've met karl on several occasions, he owns a logging company in north louisanna and used to eat breakfast at an old gas station in south arkansas where I live, and his daughters were on the swim team

i was always a fan, and always asking questions about his games and stuff like that, but he was always patient and never acted like that

  • @fccl1 your colleague** you mean? malone is a nice dude. you're full of shit

  • top 5 players without a ring all time: malone, barkley, stockton, kidd, iverson.. damn those guys had what it took but it just slipped away...

  • @gamoto96 yo u gotta add nash in there too. good list tho.

  • man this was spectacular! i wonder how many other nba players are this gentle when you strip the veneer away ...

  • sorry man, you are wrong. the greatest NBA player without a ring is John Stockton.

    then Karl, then Sir Charles.

  • @SuperBlaze46....well sure it was, all teams have one player there whole offense is built around Karl was the key to Utah's offense along with John, what Karl is saying is its a team that makes it all work he was not the one that took them to there first NBA finals it was john Stockton , it was not Karl that took them to there second NBA finals it was Jeff Hornacek he knows that and made it clear who it was that got them in the finals in interviews both times they that's what Karl was saying

  • What a gentleman, what an athlete and what a son. "Mailman" YOU sir are a great example of what a genuine superstar should be. Congratulations on your Induction and THANK YOU... for a wonderful basketball career that all of us we're so lucky to be able to watch. ^5 Karl

  • I love this video!

  • FALSE THIS IS NOT HD....but Karl Malone is pretty good :D

  • he is the greatest NBA player to have never gotten a ring, he is the Dan Marino of the NBA!

  • @nobodysperfect06 The greatest NBA player without a ring is Charles Barkley. Karl is #2.

  • nope

  • @nobodysperfect06

Yeah, He & John Stockton Should Have Rings.

  • yeah, I also don't understand on how many people say that Tim Duncan is the best Power Forward of all-time, they are dead-wrong!!!, it is Karl Malone, Malone owns Duncan in almost every statistical category, great teams win rings, not great players, just because Karl Malone did not get a ring does not make him less of a player at all

  • @nobodysperfect06

There are ALOT of great players that never won a ring.

Stockton, Malone, Charles Barkley, Pat Ewing, Reggie Miller, Dominique Wilkins , George ice man Gervin,

Shawn Kemp. Right, just because these great players did not get ring's does not mean they were not great players.

  • yeah, like I said, great teams win rings, not great players, Jordan needed Pippen and Horace Grant, Dennis Rodman, Kobe needed Shaq and Pau Gasol, Derek Fisher

  • @nobodysperfect06 statistics dont tell the whole story. the main reason duncan is considered greater than malone is simple. duncan raised his game in the playoffs/finals and almost always came through when his team needed him in the clutch. karl was the exact opposite. his play dropped in the playoffs/finals and he routinely sucked in the closing moments of tight games....

  • yeah never thought of it that way, well then second-greatest Power-Forward of all-time

  • @nobodysperfect06 Its quite close between malone, bob pettit, dirk nowitzki and charles barkley for the 2nd greatest pf of all time. It depends on the criteria you use when deciding. If you feel longevity and consistency is important then you may choose malone. If you're judging by who had the better 'prime' or a 'higher peak' then you may choose barkley. If you feel rings are important then you may choose pettit or dirk. Deciding which player is 'better' than another can be very complicated!

  • it's a shame Karl Malone never got a ring, he is the greatest without a ring, but I hate how players are judged for the amount of rings they have in the modern sports era, because not one superstar player can do it all

  • @nobodysperfect06 I'm pretty sure Karl Malone is a lot less of an ass hole than Dan Marino.

  • i'm comparing Karl Malone to Dan Marino because of their statistical achievements in their sports

  • @nobodysperfect06

There were so many. Olajuwan only won a ring because Jordan retired. There were so many that didn't get a ring. Ewing, Malone, Stockton, Barkley, you name it. It's crazy when you think of it.

  • Olajuwon has 2 rings actually, Finals MVP both 2 times, I think Malone very likely could have gotten a ring in 2004 with the Lakers, the Lakers lost that Finals mainly due to team chemistry issues, the Shaq-Kobe feud was at an all-time high, if they played mentally better, the Lakers would have won

  • This speech was intellectual, touching and Beautifully spoken from the heart. Congrats Karl! All the very best.....mmj!

  • I have never saw malone play,i know him only from a few videos and wiki, but this speech brought me to tears. He's a great person, before being a great player.

  • @TheBlindGuardianGR No he is not he knocked up a thirteen year old as a sophmore and college and then did his best to ignore the kid. Also look at his history with the Ford twins.

  • @guido32 rockets fan, correct?

  • @MaximusPrime47 Spurs fan actually. Although I modeled my game after Hakeem Olajuwon and Kevin McHale and in a related note those two and Tim Duncan are my favorite players of all time.

  • Karl Malone !! best of all!

  • Karl Lamone looks like Evander Holyfield's twin.

  • What I miss in the NBA, what's not here anymore, is the fierceness and the humanity in the players. They were beasts, but at the same time they were great people. You felt it, you always did, there was a connection with them. In other words, they were real men...what happened now? I guess times are different, people are different.

  • the best speech, didn't read off anything, just kept it sweet and simple and heart felt

  • @tjmikelil9 agreed +1000. I grew up during the Jordan vs "everyone" era....sorry to see this guy not get a ring...but he was a true competitor and loyal to the Jazz. I'm not a jazz fan but the Stockon/Malone combo was one of the best pick and roll duo's of my time. Well deserved hall of fame award.

  • @tjmikelil9 yeah him and Larry Bird had very nice speeches
