I've read and seen so much about the band the Field, but have never been able to listen to them, how's their new record? Also that stuff you're playing is really interesting, I'm going to have to look into more of it
@onebigholiday42 The Field was my introduction to techno, "From Here We Go Sublime" is my favorite, but the new one is a nice return to form that comes close to it.
Nice to see you back Matt! Mark hollis is in fact first time on vinyl!! 50 words by KB is one of the best releases from last year imo. I love Arthur russell!
Nice to see you again, Matt. You've found some cool stuff recently!
I also picked up Laughing Stock & the Mark Hollis reissues. Fantastic albums! Tell me, though, does your copy of the Mark Hollis record sound okay? Mine doesn't, at least in certain spots. I definitely got a bad pressing of that one.
I am incredibly jealous that you found a copy of Björk's Post, especially on colored vinyl. Excellent score on that one, for sure!
So good to see you Matt. You look good and healthy and I miss seeing your all of your choices for purchases. With your approval I am going to pick up Dinosaur Jr's 'Your Living All Over me'. Being a longtime Massachusetts native, I should have picked it up already. I noticed that you picked up both Kate Bush releases and 'Oranges + Lemons'. I was surprised that you did not have that one already. The Talk Talk LP is on my want list too. Very cool post Matt, thanks again my friend~
Great to see you back. I'm loving the background music. I showed Looping State of Mind in my video from last night, it's spool good. Cool stuff. 50 words for snow is really good too. Excellent stuff.
@bostonianreggie Awesome, I'm really pleased with that Field album. 50 words for snow took a while to grow on me, but it's one of my favorites of the year now, lots of metaphor, and the percussion is excellent.
Great great stuff..so obvious question..what's that playing in the background?loved it...nice to see Cranes being shown..adrift from that album is epic!!..The Cure also..I prefer Kiss me Kiss me album but I think Disintergration is regarded as their classic
@stevieju In the background is Arthur Russell, The Cranes was a bit hard to get, but I love that album, the singers's voice is like that of an angel. The Cure's been one of my favorites since childhood, and I too prefer Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me.

Dude, I've missed your channel so much. You're one of the unsung heroes of the VC for sure. For my taste, at least.
