@GreaterWood be a little careful with that one, I bought one from there and it actually looked better than the one in the video but I ran into more problems... although its not something that you shouldn't be able to fix...

@itg4mike Yea, Some of the buttons stick, so I am going to just drop the ones that came with it, and revert to my old buttons which didn't stick. I had to replace part of the frame (going to do the rest) also because it was effing up my power switch (I wasn't able to turn on the PSP at all) but overall, its pretty cool looking.

i did this and my alalog now drifts my buttons dont work you have to press them really really hard and it doesnt read umds so basically its fucked

your analog stick drifts cuz its not properly in...

U might have to press the buttons really hard because sometimes the buttons are shitty themselves... so u should stick to original buttons... And as for it not reading umd's anymore... you probably have the grinding problem where the gear grinds against the case... u might need to cut a tiny bit off the case

i fixed the analog by replacing the anolog thing with an old 1 i had i fised some of my buttons anfter i did that and i have a hacked psp so i dont use umds but if i ever want to sell it i wud get a better price if it could read them i have to close the case tight and hold it woth my fingers so it works but oncei i take my hand off it it stops reading

The way the psp was built ended up stacking every piece on top of another... so it made it kinda difficult to put together....

Although JUST MAKE SURE U REMEMBER WHAT SCREW GOES WHERE.... if u need help, im always here

i just finishing clear case mod and led fader! Put it together at first things were tight and buttons wouldn't work. So i took it apart and everything works fine. Just have to play with. It you do this mod and your umd drive is making funny noises. You should use a dremel or a tool to help file or sand down the section where the gears spin. It rubbing up on the psp clear case! good luck all!

ahah its kool... as to swap the memory stick doors, there's plastic tabs on the original door that prevent it from slipping off the rubber part. I just cut them off and the door slid off the rubber part

Anywho, I too have done this case mod with the very same case from CoolMods and boy was it a doozy. ;) It was my first time ever going 100% and I spent 6 hours on it, but I had no issues.

I'm curious to know what you did to swap out the memory stick doors.

i just finished putting back my psp that was living hell! it took me a little over 3 hours to put it all back because stupidly i forgot where a couple pieces went lol i hope that i will never have to do that ever again ...it had to be done though i sat on my psp and broke the faceplate ...i saw a set on ebay for 20 bucks and bought it i got it in the mail and just went at it ...i wish luck to everyone wanting to do this it is hell to do but worth it in the end
