After this, ELO didn't have another UK Top 10 hit for another three years. In the interim, they vanished to the US where they had substantial success (while almost falling off the radar at home) and did their best work - the ever-resplendent 'Eldorado' and specifically "Can't Get It Out Of My Head", which still brings on a shiver. Precisely for that reason, no doubt, what pop radio there was in their home country preferred Mac & Katie Kissoon, Kenny and Mud.

Indeed. Unfortunately, in their wisdom, the BBC wiped the colour VT - I'm assuming that this is from a film recording made for parts of the Commonwealth which still only had b&w TV, which is the usual reason for programmes only surviving in monochrome.
