Debbie Harry was hot! the 70s were sex, drugs, lights, flamboyant attitude, good music and tons of selfish fun! How I miss those years... specially when I see how boring is everything now!
Now that I looked into it, I'm not sure. The Midnight Special was primarily live, with the performers always doing live songs when featured on the show, but it apparently also would use prerecorded songs by the performers from time to time in addition to the live performances. If that info is true HOG could have been prerecorded while the other songs were live. Blondie did HOG live the 2nd time they were on this show.
Thanks for the great video. I'm not sure that Heart of Glass is lipsynched. This show was done live and the clips I have seen for Sunday Girl and Hanging on the Telephone as well as One Way Or Another were all definitely live. I don't think HOG was an exception. I agree about the "dancers".
Heart of Glass sounds better in mono.

The 2 plastic pants clowns are funny! They look like they're beating each other up and not paying attention to the song at all.

@doetim I agree, if I dislike something artistically speaking, besides reggaeton and cumbia, that´s disco fever.
