@214BIgl No, it sucks I have a set, the satellites have poor bass and treble, the passive crossover is set too high and gives fake boomy bass. I have the sub from the system connected to my Sherwood receiver and 4 kenwood ls-v130-bk speakers with the crossover @ 60Hz. Get off that shitty bass.

I have this system. It does very well for the price. The only thing that is negative, is that usng youtube to play this isnt a good idea. The bitrate in youtube is woeful compared to if you played this in hi-fi on a cd or dvd or even from a file in your computer. Youtube compresses the sound too much. Does anyone know where to download a good audio copy of any THX tests?

Did you ever think that maybe the reason the quality of the song is fine, the reason it sounds bad to you is your speakers? I have the Z-5500 connected using optical cable to my HT Omega Claro + 120SNR sound card and have also listened to this track with my vmoda bassfreq headphones and no scratches or beeps on either.
