sometimes i forget how much i enjoy retro games, thanks for reminding me, and that intro was great, nicely done, and great audio quality been watching your videos off and on through the night, good stuff guys, thanks for the effort
I like your capture of the genesis verion. Smoother frame rate than the other uploader on youtube who makes it look like a very choppy game. Overall nice editing and review content. ^^
I really enjoyed the third Ninja turtles film, but then again i was a little younger at the time so as long as i could understand what was going on the film was good in my book.
And i do have a hard time picking favourites and rating the quality of acting or voice acting isn't my specialty.
uh...who would consider the use of two buttons laziness? compare that to modern games like that wretched splatterhouse remake that use like 8 buttons. i'd say that game was put together by lazy fucks.
Hey, Johnny. I have a question: Where'd you get the version of Pizza Power in the intro? I've tried looking for it but, I keep finding the Coming out of our shells version. If you could help me out, I'd appreciate it.
The Arcade version of Pizza Power is exactly the same as Coming Out of Our Shells Tour, just added "PIZZA POWER!" in the beggining and it's a little bit faster.
damn i was playin marvel vs capcom 2 and i didnt notice i died, and the countdown ended. i didnt notice cause i was laughing to hard. awesome review!!
ah memories... as a little kid my friend Jimmy had turtles in time for SNES (he still has it and the SNES but I keep forgetting a cord) and I think the farthest we made it was to the elavator
Do you call it simplicity or laziness? I call it simplicity. Why would you want heavy controls for a beat-em-up? It allows smoother, less-frustrating gameplay.
I'm sorry, and I'm really not trying to be a dick, but both of you have some really annoying voices. They almost killed the entire video for me.
But, I don't think it's so much your vocal quality, as it is your continual mumbling and tripping over words.
I admire your bravery for putting yourselves out on YouTube, but (as I've said to others plenty of times) if you're gonna narrate a video, for the love of God, at least annunciate the words in your script correctly...
You know, I never really had anybody comment over the vocal quality of our reviews. Don't worry, I don't find you as a dick, you're just being honest. It's true that I can do better in terms of writing, but at the same time, I try to come off as natural as possible. All I can say is, well, I hope our voices become less and less irritating if you continue to watch. :)
No Johnny removed them because he didn't really like them, he said it's because back in those days he turned the light's off and recorded with his camera and hoped it looked half decent. Shame i know :(
@Eco10100 How was I trolling at all??? I was just giving my honest opinion... The creator of this video was mature enough to hear out my criticism. Why can't you? Don't be a jerk...
there may be only two buttons but multiple attacks you can perform with them, 4 different arial attacks two running attacks, two grapple attacks and the basic combo attack
I have a Super Nintendo emulator and a Sega emulator on my basement computer.
I was thinking....
Wouldn't it be cool to do like a cross between both games?
Shredder shrinks Manhattan with the Hyperstone, the turtles go after him (through his hideout and the Technodrome) and Shredder sends them back in time.
The turtles defeat many bosses from both games and then return to present day NYC to face Shredder (can either be Super Shredder or regular Shredder like in the Arcade Turtles in Time).
it just goes to show that if Sega had introduced it properly and stuck with it, they COULD have done an arcade perfect port of either arcade turtles game on the 32X (maybe even the four player option).... heck they could have done a lot of games that way. oh well
Nothing wrong with liking the 3rd film; it's not a terrible movie in general, but it's kinda disappointing when comparing it to it's predecessors...mainly the first movie.
But i wouldn't say colors in Genesis version were richer. And the reason turtles looked more vibrant is that the graphic mode was set to "Anime look" by default in the Genesis version, which was an extra option in the SNES version.
oh btw, have you ever played the GBA game based of the TMNT movie (not the games based of the cartoons). It's like the old classic turtle games and it's really really good.
The video keeps freezing for me
