So what happened after you showed him your ID, did he make you leave? I would've asked him to define what loitering meant to him & to quote the statute. I would also ask him why he did not say the same thing to others standing around. I'd also ask him if he was a christian & see what he said. You have a right to have a peaceful assembly. I would've reminded him of that & asked him where you were legally allowed to assemble.

Greg, do some study on common law rights and how to talk with police officers. They are supposed to be peace officers, but instead they are acting like policy enforcers. They try to trick you into their jurisdiction by asking you questions. If they tell you to show your license, ask them if they are asking or if it's an order. If it's an order, make sure to tell them that you'll comply, but under duress. Also, don't give them your full name, and if they ask if you are the full name, say no.
