Wow this song reminds me of my ex husband and I even though he and I have been apart for so many years we still love on another. Kinda messed up how things turned out. But with the grace of god he is doing better and cleaning up his life and for the better. He wants to be here with his daughter and he is in South Carolina and we are here in the mid-west. I do know that what ever the future holds it will be for the better.

This is one of the main love themes of the movie even though it was only for the soundtrack it got the Academy's nomination for best movie soundtrack single and was nominated for best duet a couple months later at that years CMA'S. @NovaScotiaNewfie, this is would be at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, since this is Officer Training it'll have both Marine Corps and Navy instructors, also Reba is in the Navy and has flight wings on (yet she just graduated from the Academy), if it were regular Boot Camp they'd be segergated.

They should all use ad visors to get uniforms, and the look down right proper hair cuts, and teach them how to march salute and talk as if they are military.

@NovaScotiaNewfie If ANYTHING is done in uniform... especially Marine Corps uniforms, and they have not earned the title they MUST have something wrong w/ their uniform such as ribbons misplaced, etc... they don't try to look like us... they know they aren't. I'm in the United States Marine Corps so I understand the frustration you have about them in uniform not properly cut and trimmed and everything misplaced or badges off... but like I said... they can't.

I personally think, that gill ended the relationship (or so the wounded looks she was giving him implied) because he knew that the line doesn't get crossed. and she would not be continually passed over for promotion; she would be given captains mast up and until she got a court martial and kicked out of the service; him too.

The Joke goes thats its the mens dept. LOL Though I think every branch of the military is the "Mens Dept."

Saying that I also wish to acknowledge the strong and powerful woman who also serve our nation.

But they do infact use MARINE D.I.s in NAVY OCS because the military hates to waste a perfectly good resource and MARINE D.I.s are exceptional in what they do.
