WOW, I have an XT225 and I do better than that in deep sand...I let almost all the air out of both front and back tires before I hit the trail and I have no problem. Key is you need to be doing at least 25mph.
Does well. I've since got an ATV 8 inch tyre on it and it's light and day difference. Sand and mud now great. 'Spirited' is open to interpretation - it is a 200cc four stroke which isn't designed for racing.

the bike it's not for racing its a little slow
but its reliable, good bike,fun to ride.

"No good" It might help if you knew how to ride in the sand, let the air out of the back and it'll cut through sand like a knife dufus.
