love this song , soooo hard to find , can anyone tell me where or if i can find it or if someone can send me this link to my email it sola_d87@yahoo.com
The immortal Walt Taylor, yes? My high school art teacher Phil Corey was in this group with Walt. They remained friends for decades. Phillip played this single for some of us at CAPA (Phila HS for Creative and Performing Arts) in 1980 or so.
We used to take the Market Frankfort El out to 69th Street to buy 45s at Val Shively's R&B Records, a legendary shop.
They did record another song.....It was faster, but I'll have to find out the name of it. My dad was the lead singer. He actually went on to sing with Philly Gumbo in the 80's....
Excellent, excellent vocal group harmony sound! Heard this once on a late Sunday night broadcast from the late Ronnie I (Ronnie Italiano), who ran Clifton Music out of Clifton, New Jersey. Think this came out around 1970 on the Ra-Sell label.
