Very true! They're a bit silly, very dated, but they are impossible not to love! there's a great behind the scenes moment where Christopher Lee gives the director a look as if to say "What does this idiot think he is doing?" It's under "Prince of Terror" Dracula AD 1972 Promo Reel. Worth a look!
Lee hated these later films as Dracula although I love them, if you notice in the last 4 or 5 films he hardly says a word because it didn't conform to the original story and he wouldn't adher to any script that made him do lines that would have made a mockery of the original tale, the extra movies were made because they were so successful.
Yeah, I did just that a few weeks ago, funnily enough. I love this movie. Johhny is so cool, but he loses his coolness a bit when Dracula turns him into a vampire. Stoneground are groovy, man!
thanks titanb for this upload. i haven't seen this for 20 years. Fantastic opening titles with an excellent soundtrack over shots of west London flyovers. who'd have guessed Johnny Alucardwas actually Dracula? funny old game isn't it.
great tune.......lovly

For a '70's Hammer film, the opening music for this is really cool.
And Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee are Gods

I just watched this film. If you love Hammer Dracula films and the 'exploitational-style' films of the 70's, you'll love this.
Me wants teh soundtracks.
