• This butt cow sport.

  • 解说员太搞笑 还防人家肘击 肘部都被套上东东了

  • Red is sanda, right?

  • @sofakingey the red one is sanda yes

  • @hej0le whats the differences between sanda n sanshou?

  • @Brandontrann I agree with us both, let's comment on... TYSON!! He was blessed with a power punch but his aggresive nature made his instincts umpredictable... then he didn't train and let fame go over his head and now he's sadly a has-been, a will-never-be-again. A year has passed since I posted my previous comment, and I've changed my ideas since then: being born a prodigy gives you edge, but training makes you a master. Yet a prodigy that keeps on learning could become a legend.

  • Muay Thai should have used those sidekicks to his advantage and caught them.

  • Sanda fighter are all like beasts

  • 太商業化的表演!

  • I'm neither from thailand nor china so i'm fairly impartial here, but I think the muay thai guy was simply not aggresive enough.

  • It's not only about how much you train (it does play a big part), it has to do with if you have 'it' in you as well. Everytime there's a fight, your ideas don't come to mind, even if they do, it's mostly your pure instinct.

  • 李海明很牛逼 ! 加油

  • tat china guy keep kick his enermy's balls -.-

  • he got knee to the balls xD

  • the ref looks like he could drop both those boys to the mat.... he's twice their size! :|

  • i prefer those 2 chinese chicks...

  • real martial artists acually practice ppl who talk shit on the internet r just fans they dun do ne form of martial arts ppl who dun do martial arts have no say in this video

  • I prefer sanshou but all fight Always depend of fighter

  • sanda is rock

  • sanhou... muay thai... heck! they even look the same already! just different rule sets!

  • No, sanshou (free fight) has a skill in "lie" sombody down, look carefully you'll see the Chinese "lie" down the muay thai player a lot of times~~~

  • Stop ur bullshits, fighting is about the level of mastery in ur skill. Its not about which one is better. And fighting is a sport, not some kinda comnparison where u brag about and show off how much u know it.

  • Very true, xxhecticxx. Well said. Fighting is about the mastery you possess, not just what the style will provide for you. So if a very dedicated Kickboxer fought against a hard working Muay Thai fighter in a MMA ruled spar, the Kickboxer would win.

It's all about how much you train.

  • How typical... we want you to come to our country and fight under our rules, but we're gonna need you to wear elbow pads so your elbows lose their effectiveness, and go ahead and keep your knees to midsection only mkay? Great... What? You want us to come fight in Lumpini stadium full Sanshou rules vs. full Muay Thai? Our champ vs. yours? Yeah, we're gonna go ahead and pass on that.

  • awesome

  • NO martial arts is better than the other. MT guys keep telling they are better then Sanda guy keep telling they are better to. A true martial artist respects other art and don't look on what art he belongs but how he fights. People here in youtube are just pretending Martial artist. Give a break guys.

  • @YawYanista i fully agree.

  • Thailand transex are much hotter than the 2 ladies in the beginning of this clip. Thailand rules.

  • queer fag

  • sansou is for wimp...

  • no need to gain more weight . buakaw would spank his ass

  • 難得!這場比賽...中國竟勇敢地允許肘擊(泰拳必殺招)...

  • wahhah wtf is that kind of excuse . muay thai would own them

  • omg if they had thai rules no sanshou would win from mt . but to make the fight fair for sanshou fighters they have taken elbow and clinsing forbidden. anyway i dont see any fight where they have muay thai vs sanshou with muay thai rules [or just free fight rules]. lets see them sanshou fight against muay fighters with free fight rules.

  • not being biased but just wanna say that if That Thai can use Elbow, so does the Chinese guy, it shouldn't be called as Sanshou rule but a safety rule, the rule will protect both of them.

  • its like fight between tae kwondo and boxer and not allow kicks for both safty lol... the muay thai fighter can use his elbows better than the san da and the elbows can defence him from throwing

  • The Sanshou dude is the red one, right?

  • Dun think there is throwing in Muay Tahi , only limited neck Clinching and Sweeping . San Shou is good because it is a rather complete stand up system . Good kick and punch , takedown , throw and sweep . But lack in submission .

  • i agree witht hat. I do Muay Thai. I do see flaws in it. Eh, both of them are good anyway in different rules. But both of them rock, tho.

  • sanshou is so effective because it alows throws and takedowns. Which makes the striking much more realistic. If you only alow punches and kicks you become used to doing techniques that may leave you open to takedowns. However muay thai alows some throws, but there is less of an emphasis on takedowns because it doesn't score well in Muay Thai.

  • those ppl who is ignorant, incase u guy dunno what San Shou is,it's all abt throwing so stop saying he is crap

  • Just Two people fight in the ring... and RED guy always throw.. that useless..

  • u think throwing skill is that easy! can u still fight if being thrown down? unless u know ground fighting skill!

  • actually I think you are right. But different styles of fighting have different advantages. Jiujitsu might be the king of 1 v 1 (I mean seriously once on the ground its basically over). But if there were more than 1 opponent... u don't really want to be using jiujitsu then would you?

  • Riiiight... and what would you recommend for 2 on 1 then?

  • kyokushin the killer art

  • wait, what about ambojitsu?

  • and you think fighting only occurs in the ring? fighting is not always a sport. Which rock did you crawl out of?

  • you've clearly not studied the ultimate evolution in the martial arts

also, it's 'which rock did you crawl out from under' - it would be rather difficult to crawl out of a rock

  • m119

    AKA

    a 45 caliber pistol

  • BJJ is not king of 1vs1 anyone can beat anyone on any given day, you could get thrown by a judoka before it ever hits the ground, or KO'ed by a boxer before it gets to the ground, there is so many variables that there is no king of 1v1

  • It's yes.

BJJ is the king of 1vs1, but too is dependent of opponent, all martial arts has efficience, depend of fighter.

BJJ is a variaton of JiuJitsu, it's nice too.

  • BJJ will fail with two opponents.

  • a muy thai guy will fail against 2 bjj guys...there you go

  • those chicks are hot!!

  • lol, let your chinese master us to teach you thais a lesson. HOW TO FIGHT

  • wooo!! capoeira whips muay thai!! wahahahaha!! jkzz... uhm.. yeah.. jkz... ^^

  • they all master......

    this is goog match

  • that... and the dude kicked him in the balls to start off with...

  • As a San Da or San Shou practicer I must mark that it's in the first five of best martial arts, but the throws are rather poor. Muay thai guy is just unprepapred for uknown attacks and that's why he does so bad.

  • The Chinese sanshou guy is pretty fast, while his blue short contender looks rather like a third rate thai boxer. No elbow means easier throws and projections.

  • listen to tge song 10 min mark hahaa

  • wow, did I just see what I just saw? looks like Sanshou sort of topples over Muay Thai in that one. It's because of the throws. But doesn't Muay Thai have any holds and then knee the opponent? Why did the Muay Thai fighter not do that? Maybe if he grabbed the Sanshou guy, SS guy would throw him...

  • oh, I forget, they don't allow the kneeing and elbowing on this type of fight.

  • but there was kneeing on about 02:14+ ?

  • oh, I didn't notice that.

  • then its not a thai fight, just a fight , in a ring

  • I never said that this is Thai fighting. it's a ring fith between two styles.

  • The ring girls are hot,but most chinese women are not hot,the ring girls were specially choosed.

  • lol

  • i know alot of chinese girls that are hot, maybe the ones u know or see r ugly ones, but i know good ones!

  • Have you ever seen a vid of Serkan Yilmaz before??

I my opinion is Serkan a better fighter.....

But i don´t said this guys arent good

  • You meen that serkan is better than bukaw? No I cant say I agree, altoughe he is a very exciting fighter to watch, the best he has done is the finals in K-1 max, and right now he hasnt even got a contract with them because they felt he was not good enoughe. But I do live watching his spinnig carzy kicks :)

  • I wanna see this chinese guy vurse buakow then.. if sanshou beat buakaw then ill no doubt agree sanshou is better cause buakaw is a good muay thai boxer

  • With talented guys like buakaw, I think if he were to have trained sanshou all his life instead of muay thai, he would still be the best fighter in the world. Some guys just have it, its not like well if he beats him then sanshou has beaten muay thai,or vice versa.

  • I agree. In my opinion, the style is not important, the important thing is how the fighter adapt to his style.

  • -_- san shou is a style... buakow is a person... remember that

  • One of interpreters is Liu Hailong.

  • fark those chicks were hot. lol

  • i dont think this guy is good at all

hes a disgrace to muay thai

  • That Thai guy can not fight Thai boxing ..esspecially Thaikick.. His kick is very poor

  • i think someone said, ``you joust go and act like if you knew muay thai´´ , that man doesn´t know a fuck of muay thai, thai is the best.

  • muay thai aint real , thats why he's getting fucced in the ass!real kickboxing exist in Loas , Burma ,and Cambodia... which is more agressive than gay muay thai.

  • muay thai is just as aggressive as kick boxing lol

  • kickboxing is muay-thai with fighting rules of karate... it's like basically the same fighting, and muay-thai is probably more agressive than kickboxing rules anyway, and sanshou is like muay-thai + judo takedowns, that's why he won because he's got the deadliest striking art with the deadliest takedown art

  • mutay thai is spiritual

  • U mean more agressive than kickboxing COME ON,...muay thai you use your knees and elbows and u r trained to brutally beat your opponent opposed to compete

  • What's the desire of all known martial arts?

-To keep improving, and getting new techniques and abilities.

  • I agree about the sudden attack in the beginning...not to say the match is fixed or anything but that Thai fighter is not impressive at all; plenty of Muay Thai practitioners would have made this a more interesting fight. (Hell, I could have made it more interesting, although still get my ass kicked by the Sanshou fighter...I've been doing amateur muay thai for about 3 years.)

  • No respect for this thai fighter. What a shameful behavior of ambushing in the beginning of the fight. This is shameful.

  • Chinese Kickboxers specialize in throwing opponents to the ground...this is how you score the most in San Da, I'm assuming San Shou is the same. You can see the tai boxer is tough as nails but is being thrown around (also, nice san shou hopping side kicks there). In mui tai, I'd expect the other guy to do better...although probably still lose in the end. RESPECT to all fighters.

  • why do all these fights have crappy muay thai fighters. Get Buakaw in there and he'll own. not saying sanshou sucks cuz i know its awesome but theyre kinda making it seem that muay thai sucks when it really doesnt.

  • who cares looks at the ring girls!

  • Hehehe, I am watching. I am watching, very carefully.

  • it is not that these muy thai fighters suck. it is just that sanshou is better. thailand will never allow him to be whipped by one of these sanshou then muay thai will be realy suck.

  • i dont think there is a 70kg sanda champion at the moment have buakaw bulk 5kg and fight liu hailong

  • buakaw would spank him even under weight

  • lol keep dreaming maybe under k-1 muay thai rules he got a chance

  • exactly. some muay thai fighters are bunch of poofs they whinge whenever muay thai fighters lose..

  • holy shit the ring girl is HOT! DAMN MY NIGGER!

  • San Shou Personal Fouls:

    2.Using prohibited techniques, including:

A.Stikes to the back of the head, neck, throat, or crotch

    B.Elbow or knee strikes

C.Striking opponent's head continuously to deliberately injure opponent

D.Use of excessive force to cause opponents to fall head over heels off the platform

E.Attacking a fallen opponent (except when an opponent falls deliberately as combat technique)

  • there not alowed to clinch or elbow...

  • hot chinese girls, sanshou is pretty effective

  • this is a good fight, shows history of their battles, thai guy sprawls with take downs, chinese guy attacks with knees on the clinch.

  • The chinese boy was the best, Zhong Guo Pride

  • muay thai take all

  • The Chinese guy is hella gas out already, freaking communist horse shit on its best.

  • its too bad you'd get your ass kicked by either of them...

  • The only simple reason for this performance is the inclusion of throws. Sanshou is good, but its techniques are simply not Chinese in origin. This style as it is practised in the ring is simply shootboxing. K1, pride, UFC, and the stadiums of Bangkok would be a better ground on which to judge the particular style.

  • one could make the argument that no style today has a "origin" . Muy Thai is not only from Thailand. If this was the case, then why is western boxing a major influence?

  • That is a fair comment Monji. My comment was in regards to the Style VS Style comments previously mentioned. Muay Thai has heavily borrowed from Western Boxing's punching techniques, especially since the adoption of boxing gloves in the last 80 years or so. But The ancient Art of Muay Boran shares some striking (pardon the pun) similarities to the modern sport of Muay Thai as it stands today.

  • lol``! 'sanshou' in chinese means 'no form fighting or free fight' it utilizes all the chinese martial arts techniques necessary in real combat situation..! but now its getting commercial!

  • whats the point in just doing takedowns if there just allowed to get back up? It shouldnt be allowed because its boring and pointless and makes for a boring and irritating fight.

  • Whats sup with the elbow pads? might as well put on shin pads, knee pads, head pads, body pads, eye pads, neck pads, thigh pads, and every other pad known to mankind. Dumb ass SanShou...... It only proves Bruce lee more right.

  • The pads are about 8mm thick. They use pads just like it in Amateur Muay Thai in Thailand as well. The pads are just to prevent cuts.

  • Take what you need & FUCK the rest. Do yourself a favour and drop the style bullshit! By the way, you have absolutely no argument against this, why? because I'm simply not arguing, I'm exhaling the truth.

  • The majority of the Chinese people (living in China) are so narrow minded, they can't grasp the reality that wushu (martial art style) DOES NOT decide who is going to be victorious! Sticking to one style shows how limited you are... & Bruce Lee lived & died trying to tell his own people this simple concept, but of course cultural pride destroyed his message, just like it destroys everything it is connected to.

  • wenas coces da el xino!

  • the rule doesnt suit muay thai, because in a real muay thai match it's not to win points by getting your opponent onto the floor, it's to permanently get them down. in a real muay thai fight, and you try to get close to your opponent like this, the next most likely things to happen to an elbow in the head and then on the floor

  • the crowd is 1-sided. nobody wants the muay thai fighter to win, its boring to watch when the crowd goes "OHHHH!" when the sanshou fighter whiffs. also, muay thai aren't as big on grappling, so the rules bend in favor of sanshou, since throws are more extensive in their training.

  • i still see that the strikes of sanda lack of power. the way they win almost is cause of throws, anyway i don't like this rule so much: short clinch, catching legs and throws are allowed, but no knee to the head... the thai fighters are not prepared well for this matches, but the sanda fighters have muay thai khrus training their stand up against muay thai

  • That Thai fighter won 116 matches and lost 26 matches. He KO 52 opponents. He is the world champion also. That Thai fighter is one of the top guy.

  • the sanshou fighter looks like a skinny drug addict, lol, the muay thai fighter looks like the typical athlete. cant underestimate ur opponent. i fink thai fighter is good n experienced, also thailand wont send n inexperieced figter 2 china,,i fink its jus sanda style is a new ball game 2him. if u been slammed on the ground n near enuf head first ,while also worrying but kicks n punches its enough 2 rattle any fighter in any style.

  • Is this pure Sansou style versus pure Muay Thai style?

or where there rule limiting some move from each style of fighthing.

The Sansou guy seems more experienced and knows his apponent stylee of fighthing whereas the Muay Thai guy appear amatuerish or not knows fighting style of his apponent.

  • in a real life fight without any rounds the sanshou will win the muaythai fast. look at the muaythais fighter face. he seemed to hve some difficulty. The chinese man was not ass buff as him but he took techniques to take the muaythai fighter down which is not easy taking someone stronger down but with skills u can.

  • nah man, they are about the same size/weight class (the thai guy is more fit, hence appear more muscular). Sanshou is takedown oriented so that is an advantage, and also their combat techniques are fast for point based hits. Real combat, however, the muay thai guy would win, their strikes load a lot more power (designed for KO). But they appear to be equal in skills

  • getting slammed on a concrete floor will kill most thai fighters that dont know how to break fall

  • Not sure, which this event was held? Look like, local match-up, it is better to compete in neutral event with best fighters of both side.

  • The Chinese guy looks funny and weak but, he is really good at defend. He uses his kick to keeping the distance from the Thai fighter.

  • this is the strategy against sanshou rule let them pick you up and make him tired out, it takes a lot of energy to lift, don't worry about the points once hes tired you can unleast the most brutal damage as you can. Who cares about the Chinese rules you just have to outsmart them. You have to force him to keep trying to lift you get in close. Everything that san shou guy is doing is that hes tiring himself out. The muay thai fighters need to learn how to pressure their opponents.

  • the only problem is that sanshou throws are designed to make you land on your head, so this strategy seems pretty risky.

  • in MMA, UFC and K1 on floor basically means u r going to be fucked, so does in the real combat!

  • that was a beautiful side kick into the head of the thai fighter. 2 mins in

  • who ever DJed the event should die.

  • video muito bom e queria ver mas coisas sobre sanshou, treinamentos a academias no brasil se possivel.

  • Especially after the team of san shou lost 4:1 to the muay thai team on their 1st match.San shou train harder in muay thai stance and thai kick and knee for their abilities on the stand up fight! They saw that most of muay thai fighter(as in ring sport) have a disaventage to the take down .That's where wrestling come in handy. I just want things to be fair and square that's all.

  • knees and elbows are allowed to use but get no point that means MT fighers can use every single skills including knees and elbow to take San Shou fighters down.

  • This is the 3rd encounter between Chinese Sanda team and Thai MT team. 1st encounter Sanda won, 2nd encounter thai won. this is the 3rd...anyone has the result?

  • This time the Chinese team won. Actually, Chinese Sanda and Muay Thai have met more than 3 times. Overall, Chinese Sanda won slightly more than Muay Thai. It seems that Sanda is the only martial art that could match the fearsome Muay Thai.

  • ya... under sanshou rules

    that means nothing

have sanshou go vs top mma fighter in mma rules

same goes with shanshou under muaythai rules

everyone has a much better rule advantage

  • hundreds of chinese martial arts were oringinally designed to kill, but now they are going commercial, so do MMA, UFC, Muay Thai and K1. so its naive for u to say sanshou won over muay thai coz of rules! do u even know the sanshou rules????

  • i love shanshou as i love every type of effective style

do u not agree that fighters fighting under their own rules gives them the edge?

i am chinese myself, and i know the pride chinese possesses in their styles

    they are rediculously naive

and yes i am clear what san shou is

    again, this means nothing

  • lol ture!

  • mate the fight didnt start yet.. but damn!! .. those girls were HOT!! lol.. i see they;ve made some good changes to this sport.

  • Yeah, most arts adapt the kickboxing stance and punches in the ring.

  • well most sports that are classified as forms of kickboxing look pretty similiar. Muay Thai, Sanshou, Karate-- they all look pretty similiar in the ring due to rules and restraints. of course thais usually use teeps and elbows more while sanshou fighters sidekick and throw. both use knees. military sanshou uses elbows buts thats different than sports version.

  • Wrong. The guy in red is Sanshou.

  • Red is Muay Thai right? His stance looks more Muay Thai.

  • sanshou looks like muay thai, especially with them knees except with the throws

  • At 02:22 the Thais fighter also use the side kick.

  • Cool. Who are the fighters?
