  • dimarzio's are better <3

  • Would the crunch lab sound good on my basswood body Jackson that is tuned to B standard? or would it sound wrong? I'm thinking of either getting a crunch lab, or a d activator-X. But idk if they can handle the low tuning.......

  • @VonHendrixTV Petrucci has used the Crunch Lab for all of their studio albums since Black Clouds and Silver Linings and even prefers having the Crunch Lab/LiquiFire set in his baritone guitars. Hope this helps.

  • @VonHendrixTV the crunch lab has a 7string version too, i think it will work. the d activator x will be even heavier than the crunch lab.

  • lols...

  • *subscribed* ^-^

  • what wood is the guitar made of?

  • which amp do you usee'???

  • @sgerard666 I use a Line 6 UX1 audio interface.

  • Nice guitar man.

    God Bless, Xiphos68

  • i was a question, i forgot the "?" hope you could answer me!!! cheers!!

  • are both pickups single coils or humbuckers, thanks!! it sounds really good with both pickups!! cheers!!

  • @FireFingers93 Thanks. Both pups are humbuckers.

  • 2.12 look at face

  • LOL dynasty warriors. There are some really good songs on that game, the guitar work is pretty sick.

  • Thanks for the comparison, however it was not fair :)) The HZ's are EMG's cheapest pups, the Crunchlab is DiMarzio's flagship nowadays. However it's fine to hear the sound difference, I got some kind of a picture about how the CL would sound in my axe.

    Subbed ;-)

  • I want to replace my warlock's factory installed bc rich humbuckers, but I could not choose between Dimarzio and EMG. Now I m going definitely for the Cruch Lab, I could not imagine that it sounds so much better even with heavy distortion

  • Is that the Alexi Laiho hz you got there?

  • @motorbreath94 In this video I'm using the "Dimarzio Crunch Lab" (Petrucci).

But if you mean the other video (annotation link on video), then yes.

The only difference is that I didn't had an After Burner installed (like Laiho),

    which makes quite a difference.

  • @StereoDeth no disrecpect but it sounds nothing like petrucci

  • @waaluss *sigh* Dude, I said it's the "Dimarzio Crunch Lab (Petrucci)",

which (obviously) means it's his signature pup, not that it (or I) sound like Petrucci.

Besides, it's also a matter of wood and amp/effect adjustment to "sound" like Petrucci.

But then; to sound also implicates to play like him.

People are pretty naive if they think a pup automatically provides THE artist's sound. Cheers.

  • can i please get the tab to this :D

  • @HaobProductions Sure. :) Go on ultimate-guitar((dot))com and search for

"Dynasty Warriors 4 - Theme Of Lu Bu". It's a Guitar Pro file.

    Cheers!

  • what is this song?

  • @rockadio1992 Song title is in the description, George. :P

  • klingt derbe Fett.
