i loved the books. i read them all in less than a month (thats over 7500 pages) because they were amazing. this show has killed me a little inside by watching the first couple episodes. because im such a devotee of the series i will continue to watch them and slowly die more and more inside. thank you terry goodkind for approving this shit, u killing me.

I read all the books in less than in a month too. Good stuff, good stuff. You're right though, the show doesn't in any way capture the character development of Richard and Kahlan. Still, Briget Regan is a good choice for the Mother Confessor.
