  • I cant remember if it was showtime or hbo but I used to watch this a TON when I was a kid.

  • i could certainly imagine katy perry as the brunette model in the ivory colored teddy saying "I WANT IT!" i also like the woman named cindy's facial structure - she looked REALLY good in the low-cut white maillot!

  • I seen this as a kid but i could not remember the name at all! It took me years of searching because all i remembered was the freeze gun and the end scene where they are fighting it out in the commercials now that i found it after all these years i am glad because it brought back memories

  • i ABSOLUTELY LOVE AND ADORE the all of the women's hair and makeup. i also think that the black bra looked especially nice on the blonde model because of the color contrast.

  • While the movie can be considered nonsense, it's also really stylish and thought provoking. Bold synth score by Barry Devorzon.

  • his name is NOT michael crichton, it is DR. michael crichton!

  • Rockstar Games recommended this.

  • All that fish makes us nauseous!

  • doctor, please, PLEASE you HAVE to change me back, i'm TOO PERFECT!!!

  • I was 14 when this movie came out. Very cool. Creepy. The music is great.

  • love the low poly hand there 0:56

  • Thank you for posting the trailer for this movie! Good movie, GREAT theme song, though very eerie!

  • This movie makes me think about the Xbox kinect.

  • As a kid, this trailer scared the CRAP out of me! Am I the only one??

  • @lurch321 Yeah, I agree as a kid the movie creep me out. I was able to watch it, but as a kid, 11 or 12 years old the movie and music had a spooky effect. I remember being at the park in my neighborhood as a kid, just before evening and not being about to get the music out of my head. The vivid images of the girls being murdered in a wired/bizarre way was unsettling.

  • @salishaw Thanks for the response--glad I'm not alone! This was a pretty unsettling movie--was it pretty intense for a PG movie, or is it just me?

  • @lurch321 I watched the movie during the day, I was about 12 years old and it had that creepy effect. So yes, very unsettling for a PG movie in the early 80's. I think the disturbing part was the strangeness a person would goto in order to murder someone. Really wired shit. Alot of repeating scientific sound effects and speech patterns that didn't make a whole lot sense. Maybe that was the point in making it psychotic.

  • @lurch321 You are a chicken. It's not even scary. It's glamorous with the beautiful models.

  • @Critique808 Cut me some slack--I was only 9 years old at the time.

  • Damn it, I was trying to spell "Hooker"

  • Susan Dey is gorgeous.

  • Looker

    Escape from New York

E.T. top three sci fi movies of the 80's

  • wow this a hot movie.. love the body scan scene. how did this get a PG rating??

  • The nude scene of Susan Dey is awesome. I love to watch this again for that alone.

  • Great movie, too bad it didn't fare better at the box office, but going up against Halloween II it didn't have much of a chance.

  • susan dey was in this film......i think the govt has been phasing obammuh with the looker weapon when he is on the teleprompter......beerock odevil!

  • this and the movie WOLFEN are great classics from that time.

  • This is a great movie and so much suspense!

  • The media is killing the pure beauty. What is presented today is the one type of beaty . Is all how your skin and face sice should look like. A whole lot of women are unsecure by that artificial beaty presented in all the ads, movie's, series.. Great movie!

  • that was a super cool trailer. looks so awesome. I saw this like 25 years ago..damn i'm bearded.

  • This and Sheena are great memories for me because they had nudity along with being rated PG. So HBO could air them in the afternoon before my parents came home. Good times.

  • lol back before the pg 13 rating

  • That explains the moist spot on the rug, Danny. I used to walk barefoot and wonder what that stuff I was walking through. I thought it was chip dip.

    signed: Your Mom.

  • @modeo92 Hard to believe this was a PG.

  • I just put 1st in my netflicks Q

  • I didn't realize that the 'green preview intro' is more than 25 years old. Wow, the modern movie trailer (in its familiar format) is pretty old.

  • Classic Michael Crichton movie!

  • Love this trailer, and the music by Barry Devorzon!

  • I have this dvd RA SHA SHA!!! there NEEDS to be a cd soundtrack !

  • I remember HBO in the 80s screening this movie like 10 times a day for months on end. The title song is almost impossible to get out of your head once you hear it.

  • "A pretty face reflected in the mirror, so perfect in every way". . .

    Stuck in my head too.

  • I agree with you there!!! This movie is awesome & a classic Sci-Fi... I got to see it in the theater's in Pismo Beach California when it 1st came out! The theme song is cool!!! David

  • Oh yeah! I remember that too! And I watched it every time it was played.

  • @Sandguy99 yeah it was like:

    She's a looker!

    Yeah that's what they say

    She's got it all, yeah,

    She's got it made.

    She's a looker!

    With her beautiful face

    She's got it all, yeah

    SHE'S GOT IT MADE!

    still gives me shivers
