  • Very nice transcription, but your play is a little mecanic and rigid

  • @DudulleMaster Thank, it's the very first take. So that's why a little machanic and rigid....

  • Im korean.....english not good...

I want to play this!!! are you Piano score??

    Very nice

  • @mshappiano 감사합니다. 이 버젼은 저가 외워서 연주한 거라 악보가 없내요. 아시다시피 워낙 유명한 곡이다 보니 오랜 기간 동안 들어오다 보니 지금 보신 것만큼만 연주할 수 잇내요~;;

  • Fantastic... I'm studying this in a level music :D

  • Nice. Have you considered trying to learn Godowsky's Passacaglia? :P

  • excellent job! I love it

  • @baboon500 Thanks~:)

  • can u play chopin fantasie impromptu?

  • VERY VERY nice ... ! my compliments to you ...

  • kind of reminds me of the episode of Casper where he went to the musical theatre and saw the ghost of Schubert sitting at the piano trying to play this! :D

  • thank you! nobody ever remembers this episode lol

  • @meaaah it was one of my favourite episodes of Casper! =D

  • @meaaah You absolute heroes. Such a good episode!

  • wow. this is really well done. but slow down!, and add more dramatic emotion, more feeling! the strings part has to be less playful, more haunting! :-) don't mean to critizise, i still think your transcription is incredible. i would buy the sheet music if i found it in a shop... :-)

  • my opinion

  • It was not bad but not excellent. I can say nothing more than that. Sorry.

  • Wow!!

    This is so amazing !!!

I want to play that piece just like that !!!!!

    ^_^

  • Sweeet

  • i like it Very Nice

I tried to Transcribe Mozart's Requiem for piano

That Did not turn out to nice

But i like your transcribtion of this piece

    Keep up the good work

  • very nice! this is your own transcription? The only advice I really have for you is to try in the future to make the violin part in the accompaniment (RH of the beginning) a bit more subtle. Thanks for posting!

  • Also, just to clear some things up, it is widely believed that Schubert did in fact complete three movements of the piece, but that the full score of the third movement was lost, leaving only incomplete piano sketches (the common story behind this is that the score was entrusted to a friend/acquaintance for transportation or something, and that the person either lost or kept the score for the 3rd.)

  • Thanks for the comment and extra info. I'll keep in mind~:)

  • I really want to play as well as you FANTASTIC! :)

  • Wow, that is brilliant. Do you happen to have the sheet music for it?

  • I love it

  • awsome you are the best i love this song

  • GENIAL!!!!!!!

My dear friend from Mèxico a "OLE" its a GREAT adaptation , I really love shubert ALL.

    SALUDOS!!!!

  • Ah, Schubert's unfinished symphony. Its so great, i feel like i could write a tragedy story to this piece. Try Schuberts Sonata in A minor "per Arpeggione" Its a great peice that I am playing for NY state youth orchestra. Schubert is my altime favorite composer. but more emotion and drama! its what schubert is all about.

  • why is it called "unfinished symphony"? can someone tell me?

  • Well, usually there're 4 movements in average at the time of Schubert, however; there're only 2 movements in his 8th symphony. That's why it's called,"Unfinished symphony"

  • @parkthoven It is also because the symphony was actually unfinished (sketches of 3rd mvmt scherzo proof)

  • it was said that this piece was actually not completed, and Scubert died when he was writing this piece..so it is called unfinished smphony...

  • yea thats wat i'm thinkin too

  • yes, this piece was actually not completed so it is called unfinished smphony...

  • My orchestra teacher told us he just didn't finish it, like he was too consumed with other work that he just put this on the back burner. And of course, he did eventually die, but I don't think he died in the midst of writing this.

  • My orchestra is also playing this piece. Its a fun one. Thats amazing that you did that by ear!

  • Same here. The bass part is SOOOOO awesome. Right at D is one of my favorite parts in any piece. This version varies a lot in tempo.

  • I love this piece, you have a great talent, but don't forget about the feeling, feel the notes, you acelerate too much in some parts.

  • I love it! were playing this in my orchestra. and its a wonderful piece.

  • this was very cool! just remember to give it a little more feeling/emotion.LOL!

    GOOD JOB tho!

  • Thank you for your info~^^

  • i liked, but how u did by your hear, is missing to much , the most important is the "rithim"

  • Have you ever heard Leopold Godowsky's Passacaglia for piano; it is based on the first 8 bars of the unfinished symphany; it's very good.

  • Really? I should try that. I 've heard Godowsky's Chopin Etude Studies, but never heard of Passacaglia for piano. Thanks for your info~

  • You're welcome; Naxos have a good recording of it on a cd called 'Schubert: Piano transcriptions'

  • Did you arrange that yourself? Or did you memorize it from sheet music?

  • I just listened it and played it by ear

  • Nice, the (famous) intro is so marvellous.
