It really is the best software under $40 for recording PC games.

If your PC isn't particularly fast, then you may consider the less resource intensive Bandicam software instead of Fraps.

@RagingPygmy Um, hey. I use Bandicam, you can see the videos on my channel, and I definitely agree that it is less resource intensive. I make HD videos with no lag at all using bandicam, and I'm not being a fanboy Im just saying you might want to check it out if fraps ever fails for you
