Pretty damn good, considering a) it's QUEEN, and b) he had a cancerous mass in his chest that was causing breathing difficulties. If you watch some of the stuff from his a capella group it's actually very well done.

I agree more with Randy. He did it fine. It's a HARD song to cover. Was he as good as Mercury? No... but I don't think he was trying to be as good as the original either. There were a few pitch problems here and there, but people saying that he was "singing out of tune the whole time" are full of it. He did an admirable job. Simon did hit the nail onthe head that you are tough picking sngs like that because you are going to always be compared to the original

Actually, the producers chose a lot of his songs. He had others chosen, but they made him do different ones. I think he did amazing considering during half of his performances they didn't turn his earpiece on and because of his tumor.  He's so amazing. I heard him sing at my school about 2 months ago.
