  • it means there is a bomb or fire alert

  • Sorry but TFL this makes me panic a little more then if you said - "can a fire official please go to the control room" I'm thinking everyone in the being held a hostage in the control room and your calling for Inspector Gadget!!

  • They had that today again at euston. I think it's some kind of alarm for the staff without getting everyone in the station in a panic.

  • will...

    i guess he's there already

  • Nice torture test.

  • It actually means a fire alarm system has been activated. Had there been a fire this introductory announcement for staff would have changed to an evacuation alarm. It is tested regualrly. That is why you may hear it a lot. The idea is to let station staff know of an activation so that preperations can be made for an evacuation if and when required. Simple !

  • it means there's fire, it's the code ''inspector sands'', and it means the fire is in the control room

  • It's an fire in the station control room

  • its scary when it stops in mid sentence,like,will............ but gr8 vid though.i like :)

  • Why does Euston get that announcement more than any other London terminal?

Heard it twice personally, and seen four youtube videos with it.

  • Fire in the station controll room - Mr Gravel followed by a name = there has been a bomb explosion at the name!

  • i've heard about this, it supposedly played continuously in the underground during the july 2005 bombings

  • If you had gone into Boots, you would have heard the fire alarm sounder making an intermittent beep...
