  • This man is going to be my teacher at the University of Texas

  • cello and violin are the best music devices ever ........:)

  • My favourite part in Tong’s play at 1:54 when Tong picking up the bow for a sec to actuate and enhance the finish part of the theme.

  • @delacher001

    I agree with you!!!

    The depth and the strength

  • Please someone who help me to find the music sheet for this version? I play cello and I want it to play it

  • The cellist is Yo Yo quality and the intended oboe for which it was written is a perfect

blend with the vocalists who add to the intense beauty here. Bravo to all.

  • My bad not yo~yo. But I still stand by my statement! One of the most beautiful renditions to date!

  • muy linda la versión, aquí dejo el enlace de otra que me sorprendió a pesar de ser muy casera: that's not Yo-Yo Ma. It's Bion Tsang

  • best version i've heard so far. really really beautiful!!

  • repost this it doesn't work after 56sec.

  • Gabriel's Oboe has nothing on Bion's Cello XD

  • The Choir does go along beautifully!

  • To all those saying yo yo has no emotion,, check yourself. you dont get as far as he did not having emotion translated into the piece you are playing. Conductors and teachers pick up on it at a young age, and you don't get far. I think Yo Yo plays beautifully and his tone and intensity and dynamics were perfect.

  • @basswiz88 that's not Yo-Yo Ma. It's Bion Tsang.

  • One beautiful piece of music.

  • we have the same name bion - i play bass guitar

  • Nicely played, Ian.

  • He's kind of stiff...just watching him doing arco kind of stiffens my right shoulders...

  • No that is not Yo-Yo Ma.

  • i was there and i thought he was very expressive and sensitive to the fact that he was not the main instrument featured. the cello was a lovely addition.

  • He has got the right technique... but when you listen to the first part of the song, you may notice, that he never changes his loudness or intense...

  • Fantastic choir... but a non-emotional cellist

  • I agree

  • I completely disagree. The cellist's intensity is amazing and appropriate and adds to the beauty of the piece.
