Where did the whole punk thing come from? Anyway I think the band have mentioned in one interview a liking for stuff like Joy Division, though I would argue it would be far too simple to reduce this to mere simple comparisons like that. Anyway brilliant band but I had a hard time getting into them at first.
Very interesting guitar and vocal work here. Tempo is always shifting too but obviously played by musicians used to each other. Trance-like, I find it uplifting in a dark way.
