  • Can you post a video of the interior at night?

  • @W201n202 Hi, yes the mirror still in good condtion. No cracks from the bump. Whats the mirror housing assembly??

  • @dipzwun The mirror housing assembly is the entire shell that protects the mirror and mirror motor. Since the mirror is still good, I'm sure you can find a used assembly off of eBay, or at a used junk yard.

  • @dipzwun Here's the link to removing the mirror housing:

Let me know how that works out.

  • Hi, I've got a 1995 Mercedes Benz C200 and someone randomly bumped into my right wing mirror, now its abit loose n its not as stiff as before. wiggles abit now. Can you help me out to fix this problem please. Thank you.

  • @dipzwun Ouch! Sounds like you may need a new mirror housing assembly. Is the mirror lens still good?

  • Is they're a particular brand you used? I'm going to replace mine with green LEDs if I can, to match the interior lights I installed by the pedals

  • @ferrari5o9o I used whatever was at Auto Zone. They are just LED's. Hope this helps. (You may have to get rid of the bulb that comes with them and wire them to the connectors. Very easy job, just remember to use electrical tape to keep them there after you are done.

  • Those look beautiful. I replaced my domes with LEDs as well, but I used festoon LEDs that were the same size and shape of the original so they arnt AS bright but they are still 10 times brighter and prettier than the original warm incandescents. Im also going to do the one in my trunk as well, and Im going to custom install an LED for under the hood and for the door handles.

  • @320bit Thanks a lot! Nothing but the best for this car!

  • i just got some led bulbs but they're not lighting up. Did you change any of the connections?

  • @deejaykay2345 Not at all. It's a simple plug n' play operation.

  • @W201n202 do you know if there is a LED bulb for the reading light? have you ever thought about chagning the cigarette ash tray light or speedometer?

  • @deejaykay2345 The reading light is powered a 6481 bulb. If you want to change the colors across the instrument cluster, I can send you the diagram of the instrument cluster that includes all of the bulb sizes for each light (you'll have to paint the orange needles if you want them to change colors).

  • @deejaykay2345 What was done was we got rid of the 'adapter' bulb that was used for the dome lights and just used direct wiring. So literally, we cut the bulb out and just tied the negative and positive wires to the correct place and voila! Be sure to use electrical tape to hold it down - mine was red as you can see. Try this and let me know, if need be, ill do a step by step for yah! Hope this helps.

  • @Shadow02135 i figured it out. i had the led light bulb in backwards and didnt know. have you tried replacing the glove box, cigarette tray, or the speedometer with a led light bulb?

  • @deejaykay2345 I havent actually, although I want to. The glove box is a piece of cake, idk about the ciggarrette tray or the speedometer. Sonny (W201n202) will know more about that than me, I think I might go through with it and make them all light blue or white.

  • @Shadow02135 I've tried replacing the glove box light but the fuse must be burnt out. have you tried to replace the reading light? doesn't seem like W201n202 did anything except unplug it

  • @deejaykay2345 That was me doing this video actually Lol, And no, I couldnt find a bulb, I actually just got rid of it and dont bother using it. I never use the reading bulb anyways, the dome LED's do what I need them to do - Look sexy at night, and have enough light to see what im rumaging for on the floor. Lol. Fuse is possible. I will be replacing that light as well with an LED.

  • @Shadow02135 haha oh i didn't know. yeah the LED's look nice on my two tone leather at night. have you ever tried putting LED in the front for the turn signals? i read on club202 that it doesnt blink fast when you install a LED blinker in the front unlike the back. I found some error free LED bulbs for the rear that requires no resistor. they're 80 a pair tho.

  • @deejaykay2345 I honestly tried putting LED's, but gave up quickly after haha. I just didnt really care that much for them. Maybe in the future I will. And Club202 rocks!

  • @Shadow02135 I replaced the glovebox light, reading light, and rear turn signals with LED bulbs now. it looks clean especially at night

  • @Shadow02135 The gauge cluster is easy to install LEDs as well. I have videos on facebook where I did it to mine. The cluster just pops out and unplugs and all the bulbs are right there just twist off and replace!

  • @320bit Ill be looking at your FB, Ill work with W201n202 to get a video up as well for his channel. Im sure tons of people would love this information for a W202. Thanks!

  • @Shadow02135 I actually think I have a video up on here.

  • @320bit Yeah I checked it out, I will be attempting the surgery on my car once i find the bulbs i want.

  • where did you get the led lights?

  • @deejaykay2345 Try your local auto parts store - the bulb number was 6481. If that doesn't work out google it up.
