How exactly does your Oil Pickup pump oil to the top of the motor? This video is great for checking the oil pickup and making sure the filter is clean but replacing an oil PUMP is slightly more in depth.

@dergrossen 1. clean the inside bowl of the sump of old oil residue. 2. Care on the bolt tightening sequence and torque. 3. While you have the turbo oil return line off it is a very good idea to flush and clean it. We used this engine daily for 20 years and 360k miles. Wonderful engine if the oil and filter is changed often. The joint to the turbo line at the sump can be a real ******

@dergrossen What is exactly missing? It should be a quick guide to replace an oil pump. At the end of this video is a "caution" about careful handling with oil. I'm open for any constructive critiques in order to improve this service. Thanks for your comment.
