  • cool vid man

  • Lame, i make wine the real way

  • Hey Jake, I made a gallon of the cranberry wine and it is great!!. I used regular table sugar but whirled in a food prossessor first to make it desolve faster. I also used regular bakers yeast and that work good too. I used a balloon with needle punched holes for the air lock. Thanks for the great recipe. Oh BTW, it tastes nothing like cranberry juice. ;)

  • Looking at that wine is making me thirsty

  • You canadian eh?

  • what kind of sugar r using in d video and where can i purchase it

  • i have another question....say for example if you wanted to pour the wine out into a fancy looking wine bottle,,how long should you wait before you do that?? i wasnt sure if it matters how long you wait or not..and what would be the best way to do that??

  • Why you do not use nutrient and tannin?

  • excellent video...please do more homemade wine and beer videos...I like your simple but effective approach

  • How big are the containers you're using?

  • We are Nov 16 / 2011 and started my one way as per this video.... will let you know how it turned out. Thanks strange brewer

  • what happens if there is not alot of room at the top of the bottle .. will it over flow or worst .. blow the cover off ... redwine would be a b*&(&^ to clean up :(

  • How can I control the alcohol content; as in making it stronger or weaker. Do I do that by adding more or less sugar/yeast.

  • god dam good shake, shake the shit out ov it haha

  • So cool! Did you buy your cranberry juice or make it yourself first?

  • the more sugar you put in the sweeter the wine will be right?

  • Okay, I just racked my batch and had a small 1/2 shot sample - this is a really nice wine (I subsituted the sugar, and got a gravity reading of 1.9 before I added the yest, and .980 at this first racking: 11-12% alcohal content if I got the calculation correct). I'm going to rack it one more time, bottle it and age it for a couple months before I give it a better sampleing. But thanks for shareing the recipie!

  • STFU thats his coke nail. Home made coke next bitches.

  • This looks awesome. I'm going to try it out except I'm going to sustitute the sugar with liquid sugar cane.

  • how did it tast??? never tryed crynberry before was it tasty or sour???????????????

  • i matched what you did but i used a liquid yeast. wyeast 4244. it has been over 48hrs and still no activity in the bottles. can i add more yeast with out effecting the taste?

  • torchidman .... you smoke fags???

  • @jakeandddar lol was just giving you shit. Love your videos, sir! I make my own wine in Cali, but I think I'm going to start a "plastic container" wine series. You have inspired me Jake.

  • Dude, please trim your god damn finger nails. That is the gnarliest thumbnail I've ever seen.

  • @strangebrewer1 Dude, you got have a redneck nose picker, besides you where suppose to focus on the wine being made not my body parts. LOL Cheers!

  • What the heck are you showing this shit to a 10 year old for? I am only old enough to smoke a fag every now and then, but do not want to become an alcoholic!

  • can you get poisind from doing the same thing with tabel sugar and bread yeast ? and if so how do you test to see if its

    poisnd

  • @danrod1002 and how do you prevent it

  • killer i just purchest like 3 of thes exsact yeast packs gonna make sum tasty wine

  • was that a 100 percent juice or juice cocktail?

  • Fail, you need either a airlock and bubler or a balloon for the fermenting stage, ive been brewing/making beer, wine, and meade for four years

  • @WolfTheAtheist i used condoms and wine yeast , also found out that gelatin will clear up the wine very fast.

  • did 3 more today , cranberry raspberry ,blueberry Pomegranate and just plan cranberry juice , the one i did yesterday was cranberry cocktail .... i'll post back how everything turns out ..

  • Homebrew wife-beating juice.

  • trying this now but didnt have sugar when i got home had to use icing sugar ;( i hope it turns out okay

  • I would use EC-1118 yeast it seems to work fast and very well. I have a video on my youtube channel of us using it make 15L of really nice wine...

  • That's the brand of yeast I used when I use to make wine except the kind I used had the number 1116 in it. It worked great.

  • @mieses2pieces Also, you should use a bung and an airlock.

  • @mieses2pieces Ya,but I only have one bung and airlock I use for my home brew at the moment,no air will enter through the slightly loosened lids especially will there is carbon pushing out, cheers!
