  • @EmekaOTV wow that was a detialed description and a half i personally use fl studio and it seems to work amazingly, also good on you for helping begginers

  • that's a good mix, but people saying "The world deserves good music like this" is too much, the world have meet great musicians like beethoven, bach, puccini, among others.

  • @AburtoRodrigo dude... saying "The world deserves good music like this" is not a knock on the great musicians from the past, it's just greatly complimenting Andrew's work. There's absolutely nothing overboard about that comment at all.

  • fake.

  • whats the beat from in the beginning ?

  • You are a genius! I feel so lame sitting here eating ice cream while people like you create this masterpieces on Youtube. PURE AWESOME! ;D I'm getting addicted to it

  • dude.. i wish u get into progressive house/trance music and make some amazing studio albums.

worlds needs a lot of good DJs fr that genre.

  • Amazing

  • It's adictive. Dope!

  • Y U NO have more views?

  • you should make a beat from the noises of a car

  • I don't know if you do this, but I am getting into music production, I'm hoping you could possibly do tutorials?

  • I have a question, are you using a MPC or a MPD/MPK??

And what is the difference among the 3?

reply ASAP, I'm verry inspired I wana get my own and play music like this!

  • @Gino0 He is using an akai MPD32, Unlike the MPC the MPD32 is simply a midi controller for softwares or "DAWs" and doesn't have any built in sounds, whereas the MPC has its own sounds and sequencer to make music with in its own software. MPKs are midi keyboards that have MPC style pads on them however they work as midi controllers like the MPD. So if you already have software then I would reccomend getting the MPD32 to use as a controller, hope this helped :)

  • @Gino0 Also in this video he is using the MPD32 to trigger his sound samples in ableton live, however the MPD32 can also be used in almost every other music making software, e.g. reason, cubase, sonar, pro tools etc. it is a really great piece of kit and i would definitely suggest getting it if you want to start making music, however make sure you have a DAW first, reason, logic Ableton live and Fl studio are probably the best ones!! I personally use reason 6

  • @EmekaOTV Hey dude! Thanks for the info, but I have more questions for you now LOL.

What's a "midi controller/DAW?" and I don't have any software or anything like that. And as a beginner, should I purchase an MPD or a MPC? And if I get a music software, I believe Ableton live is the proper one?

  • @Gino0 No problem

A DAW is a Digital Audio Workstation, basically it is music making software like Ableton, Reason, Logic etc.

A midi controller is a controller that triggers the sounds inside of the DAW, for example you can get midi keyboard which are keyboards that plug into your PC/MAC allowing you to play the instruments in your software.

The MPD32 is a midi controller therefore meaning that it sends midi messages into your laptop to trigger sounds in your DAW...

  • @Gino0 ...however this also means that the MPD32 is useless without the software.

Finally the MPC is a workstation that has its own sequencer meaning that it doesn't need software to work, although MPCs are very expensive so you may actually be better off getting a DAW and the MPD32. Ableton is an amazing DAW so if that is the one you like the look of then I would get it, but I must point out they are also quite expensive, but less expensive than MPCs

  • @Gino0 ... haha sorry for the long messages but you should also looking into getting the Native Instrument Maschine. It is similar to the MPD32 however it is alot better as it offers more controlls, it also comes with its own DAW that works extremely well with the Maschine hardware, it is cheaper than a DAW and an MPD32 together and alot cheaper than an MPC and in my opinion it is also alot better in some areas!!! You should look into it if you have some spare time.
