For one thing you should read the books but susan and peter cannot come back, because they have learned all the life lessons they could from Narnia. Lucy and Edmund however have yet a little more to learn so they return.

I think that Susan was having an "Oh, what the hell?" kind of moment. Granted that her and Caspian only had a few sentences and lots of glances and longing looks at each other, but take this into her perspective:

She's leaving Narnia FOREVER, didn't get to develop a relationship with this hot, sexy accented prince, and will never see him again. So if you were her would you too be thinking "Oh, what the hell?" and kiss him?

Peter, however, does go back in the final book, The Last Battle, along with Edmund and Lucy - they go to Aslan's Country, but Susan doesn't because she actually stops believing in Narnia.

Aslan's Country is actually Heaven and everyone goes there when they die - Peter, Edmund and Lucy die in the final book - they're killed in a train wreck in England, but Susan doesn't because she wasn't on the train and she's stopped believing in Narnia.

Caspian goes there too and so does his wife, Lilliandil and their son, Rilian.

@Caittheegreat No Aslan's Country is a better Narnia; it's Heaven and Susan doesn't go there because she stops believing in Narnia, thinking of it as a silly childhood game because she gets interested in make-up, clothes and men etc.

And I don't know if they're making another movie - they're discussing it, but I don't know what's going to happen. And no one dies in Voyage of the Dawn Treader, well actually Reepicheep more or less does because he chooses to go to Aslan's Country.

And does Aslan die? Well, in The Last Battle, we find out who Aslan really is and in Voyage of the Dawn Treader, the main characters are Lucy, Edmund, their cousin Eustace and Caspian.

The producers have said in interviews that they are planning to get a fourth movie made, but which of the books it'll be, I don't know.

It's set 3 years after Prince Caspian; Caspian is out on a quest to the Lone Islands to find the Seven Lost Lords of Narnia, who his uncle banished and there's a new evil seeking to corrupt all of Narnia that must be defeated. Lucy and Edmund return with their cousin Eustace and join in the quest, but they're all tempted by the evil. They travel to 7 different islands and on one of the islands, Caspian falls in love.

@Caittheegreat No Edmund doesn't fall in love, just Caspian - Edmund's still not mature enough yet. lol He takes a liking to Lilliandil yes, but it's Caspian who falls in love with her.

I've no idea when the DVD will be out, but it's worth checking to see if the movie is stil in theatres though. And no, Peter's not in Voyage of the Dawn Treader, but he makes a brief cameo appearance.

And to answer your question on who Aslan really is - he's Jesus; he's basically the Narian version of Jesus.

@Caittheegreat More or less yeah; the whole Caspian/Susan was really more of an infatuation than anything else. Lilliandil is only in the whole movie for one scene, but when Caspian meets her, it's love at first sight because she's the most beautiful girl he's ever seen - you can clearly see the connection between them. Edmund is fascinated by her beauty as well, but he's not mature enough to fall in love yet. lol

Oh and I think the DVD will be out in April.

@Caittheegreat Yes you should!! Yeah the new kid is Eustace, Lucy and Edmund's annoying cousin; he's a new main character. Poor Lucy wants to be beautiful like her sister, even though Susan's not really that beautiful at all... well certianly not as beautiful as Lilliandil.

Herself, Edmund, Caspian and Eustace all get tempted by the new evil that seeks to corrupt Narnia, but in different ways and she's tempted by her desire to be beautiful.

Peter and Susan make cameo appearances, but they're not main characters; that scene with Peter, Susan and Edmund - that's all part of Lucy's temptation.

And the movie is still showing in theatre here in the UK so, I assume it's still in cinemas everywhere in the world; maybe it's not too late for you to see it yet. :)

@Caittheegreat They're currently working on getting filming for the next movie started and the next movie is going to be The Magician's Nephew.

This was the sixth book C.S. Lewis wrote, but chroniclogily, it's the first story because it tells the story of how Narnia was created. If you haven't read the book, you should because it's a really good story. :)

How he knew about Narnia is because he was there when it was created; it should read the book, I strongly reccommend it.

Caspian dies of old age in the fourth book, The Silver Chair and in the final chapter of The Last Battle, there's a big reunion in Aslan's Country with all the major characters (except Susan) including Peter, Edmund, Lucy, Eustace, Caspian, Lilliandil, Rilian, Mr Tumnus, Reepicheep and Aslan.
