If we were able to we would have. We're not part of the official DVD crew however so it wasn't an option. Hopefully in the future we'll be able to.

Hello all, I am the camera man who got the close-up shots for this video. We recently discovered that Premiere was cropping some of the video a bit too much, so everything appears to be zoomed in too much. Rest assured that the final product will not contain such excessive zooming.

This is indeed true. I regret not noticing it sooner... The only way to fix it would be down scaling it to the same resolution as the rest of the footage, and/or release it as it's own 1080p version, which I may do both.

Sorry there weren't a lot of great camera angles or the only good ones were just zoomed in too far. It's our first year filming so much of PAX as a group, and we'll go over these things and make sure we don't make the same mistakes in the future. Basically, if Metroid Metal plays at PAX EAST or PRIME next year, we'll have better footage to show off. And they better come back to PAX! Hope you all still enjoy.

Yeah when I'm going through the editing I've noticed it a lot with our best camera and it annoyed me too. I wasn't on that camera but I will make sure my team works on this for future PAX's.
