The difference is that I custom drew it to represent MY own life, and not Dwayne Johnsons. It does not even look similar, except for the fact that its in the same location. I don't think the guy disrespect to The Rock and Samoans or Polynesians people. To have a tattoo that look like The Rock's tattoo on his body for life. I bet he is a fan of the Rock and may have a lot of love for Samoans and Polynesians people. If the Samoans and Polynesians people think that he disrespect The Rock and the culture. I think it's not intentional. If he would have known that it's disrespectful to Polynesians and Samoans people, I believe, he would not get it.

lol personally i think its great people love our culture. being samoan myself, the rock's tattoo is NOT samoan. even if it was done the old fashion way, with all do respect of course. so maybe this guy's a die hard fan of the rock, who knows. all i know is, in the islands, the combination and certain designs identifies which tattooist did it...but the overall tattoo itself, describes the wearer's bloodline, history, and his own accomplishments and goals. i dont blame the artist, shes hungry.

Why would get Dwayne's EXACT tattoo? I am not samoan, but I do have a tahiti tattoo in the same area as Dwayne. The difference is that I custom drew it to represent MY own life, and not Dwayne Johnsons. It does not even look similar, except for the fact that its in the same location. You should never "COPY" a tattoo. The only kudos I give this guy is the fact that he was able to get all this done in one sitting...must be rich.

i agree completely that it's pretty weak to copy someone's personalised tattoo line for line like that, but...
with all due respect to everyone's opinion, i think it's maybe taking it a little too far when you state that different style's of tattoo's should be limited to the culture & people where they originate from...
In most cases a tattoo will be a part of you for life, so who are you to limit people to exactly what they can put on their skin or not...?
