He also has a collection of shoulderboards, ranks and two Iron Cross medals. One is a Knights Cross Iron Cross the other is a strange maltese cross. Can someone appraise for me?

  • Hello! I have a luftwaffe belt buckle....it looks like an original one, but it is in (too) good condition. Can you help me to decide that it is real or fake? I'd send pictures.

  • Very nice collection and priceless.I have my respect for you,I love all of them but there are three items here that I TRULY admired and loved them so much...the Uniform Jacket of Luftwaffe Airborne Paratroopers (at 0.41) the 1939 Luftwaffe Helmet (at 2.09) and the NCO Luftwaffe Hat (at 4.31) these three items are awesome, one of a kind, hard to find and priceless.

  • Is that mp40 working and nice wife

  • I have a belt from 1943. gott mit uns is written on it it's not a replica and is from a german who was killed in holland. how much is that worth in the netherlands (euro's)?

  • Nice Collection!

  • Great video- thanks so much

  • honor a la luftwaffe

    luftwaffe honor

    Luftwaffe Ehre

  • It looks like you have a helferin uniform here too.

  • Not sure why you think that ... Maybe you can help me to understand just what you mean by that ... Thanks ... V V

  • I really envy you, dude. Take good care of those items! :D

  • i am lucky because i found a all origional in the box german army officer uniform in my grandfathers attic. =)

  • Wow .... Thats great .... I would like to see a pic. of that .... Hope you take good care of it .... V V

  • @fangman666 Friend I have a question, Have you dress? Some of it?

  • Not sure what this means ???? ..... V V

  • i think some of that stuff is replica because the stuff looks in very good condition.

  • I leave these comments up because I want other people to understand what we as collectors have to deal with. Like I said many times it takes many years and hard work to find the items in the condition I wish them to be in. Of couse if you don't know what your talking about or have no idea what your saying, I can see why you might say what you have said. Finding something in mint shape is always the best way to go. I would rather have one item in great shape then 10 things in bad shape. V V

  • very impresive your finest collection, so many things, congratulatios, many money too, hehehe, but just a one thing...the first music, dude...you used a not militar german music for show german war things, germans have a very special music, martial, strong, hard militar music, but you put a clown circus music, like used by the stupid brittish or USA army, when clowns with uniform march with circus music...but germans are diferent, dude, Wermacht have class, even with the music than they used...

  • Thanks .... Yes I know .... I just like this music from the show ... V V

  • @fangman666 lol its a stupid british thing ya hun

  • I dont have much of a collection but ill write what i have got. an undamaged helmet with all the lining (black), a cap with thoses two buttons on the front and a pin on it (grey), an mp-40, a patch of an eagle holding a swastika (dark grey with white eagle and swastika, a breast patch of an eagle holding a swastika (White with black eagle and swastika), a flag with a swastika in the middle and an iron cross on the top left corner, an old umbrella (not nazi but from that war period)

  • Hi there .... That is a great start .... I started with only a few items .... Took me many years and alot of hard work and just being in the right place at the right time to find alot of the items in my collection .... I also do alot of reading and research on collecting ..... Keep up the good work ..... Take care ..... V V

  • Linda coleção, gostei muito, deve ter dado o maior trabalho tudo isso,Foi buscar na Alemanha? Parabéns!!

  • Believe it or not, the clothing is used to reclute, not only in the army. Nazis where the best at that. Nowadays is used by companies. Everyone has the company insignia, so it gives you an ownership sensation. But as you go higher in the company, the coolest the uniform they give you. Sorry if I am not clear about it, I don't manage english quite well. Go to a fast food and you see what I mean

  • these fellows got what they bloody well deserved in 2 ,o.k.. iv'e been frinds mit fiel Deutsch from the 2 & now Bundeswhere.I'm an Anglo Saxon Celt, soldier 22 H.M.F. 5 years others!! no bullshit o.k.

  • I bought a Luftwaffe helmet in a yard sale for $5.00 ! It had a good decal and leather insides. The helmet was sized for a small head. I gave it to my father, who kept it a while, and then sold it for $100.00. It made him happy so I was glad to give it to him.

Dancke!

  • Very nice collection it's a shame Germany can't be proud of this anymore, these are surely the most beatiful uniforms an army can have and the German Eagle is the best designed Eagle I've ever seen just 1 question what does V V mean?

  • Very nice collection it's a shame Germany can't be proud of this anymore, these are surely the most beatiful uniforms an army can have so what does V V mean?

  • Last Song? ^^

  • @rasfi 1 it's not all that uncommon to have a WWII helmet. I have 14. (Ebay is awesome)

  • @fangman666 I bet a lot of people ask you this, but is that really Herman Goering's armband? That's amazing...

  • @mannymarotta No, it's a band that was used by luftwaffe soldiers/pilots.

  • 12/10/2010 .... WOW .... 110.00 views .... Thank you to everyone that has viewed my video ..... V V

  • How did you get this stuff? and in such perfect condition?

  • Lots of hard work ..... V V

  • If this is your real collection, that I'm very impressed, amazing how well they look wonderful and nice condition in my country, ireland, such exhibits should be more, unfortunately, in my collection there are destroyed rusty helmets, rusty bayonets and several scales: ( (nothing special: (My dream is to have such a wonderful collection like yours. Forgive my errors in spelling, hardly know the language.

  • Hi there ..... Just so you know yes, this is my collection .... You might want to take the time and read the other comments .... I have been collecting for over 25 years ..... I have to admit I sometimes wonder how lucky I have been to find some of the items in my collection .... But I will tell you one thing ..... I must of spent 1000's of hours looking for things .... Also learning what is real and what is fake is so very important .... Then taking care of everything ..... Take care .... V V

  • You have a excellent collection!!

  • Thank you so much for enjoying my Video ...... It makes me very happy to see that so many people have viewed my video .... Once again thank you ..... Take care ...... V V

  • the insides of those helmuts are in terrible condition

  • @MannenQ Ummm, not quite. Stalingrad resulted in the annihilation of the German 6th army. It is considered the major turning point of World War 2. Also German casualties soared after 1942, resulting in 600,000 dead and x2 wounded in 1943 compared to 160,00 dead in 1940 and x2 wounded. .. What Nazi Germany CAN be credited with is the near annihilation of the Jewish people. Awesome collection Fangman!! Would love to start my own someday...

  • 10/21/2010 .....101,007Views ....... Thank you so much to each and everyone who took the time to check out my video ....... It makes me very happy to see people enjoy my video ...... Take care ....... V V

  • @fangman666 nice vid are they all original????

  • Hi there... Yes all is 100%... I have people tell me all the time the item's look fake because it looks so new ... Unless I find the item cheep or get an item from a friend or family member, for the most part I try to find and buy an item in the best condition I can find it... There are some item's in my collection that have taken 20 years to find in the condition that I want them to be in... After that taking care of everything is a full time job... Glad you liked the video... Take care... V V

  • good music i cant say more

  • You have to wonder what somebody means by this ?????? I think someone that has no idea what history is ......... I leave these kinds of posts up so people can see what we, as collectors have to go though ........ If people were just a little more open minded ........ Thats it ............. V V

  • My apologies fangman...you are right about the music. That is a great collection! Do you ever show it? High School kids need to see these pieces of history.

  • WoW.... What a great collection you have. This is some wonderful items... You have to love history and appreciate the past. Thanks for keeping it alive..... Well done!!!

  • frangman666 any items for sell or trade ;))

  • Hi there .... Sorry to say no...... I never trade or sell..... The only time i might part with something, if I get an item that I know a friend might enjoy more then me, I give it to them for there collection ..... Its nice to see them happy and it makes me happy knowing they have an item in there collection from me ....... Are you a Collector ??? >>>>>> Hope you enjoyed my video ........ Hope to have a new one out very very soon ..... Take care and Thank's .......... V V

  • HOGENS HEROS nice set.

  • Grey is such idiotic colour for army..

  • @MrMethadrine 'Field Grey' that is for the German army...one of the best and most efficient camouflage patterns ever!

  • @ArenaOfTheAncients yeah especially in areas with lots of green...

  • @MrMethadrine you'd be surprised...that's why it's called 'Field Grey': It has a greenish touch to it...

  • Very impressive collection.

  • Thank you very much. Like I said many times, very happy that with Youtube we can share our Collection with other people and still feel safe. It is a crazy world we live in. Some people don't understand that it is only a hobby and a great way to learn about history........ Once again thank you......... Should be having a new video out very very soon ........ Take care ...... V V

  • german troopers move me on! well trained and disciplined! best established trooper set by example! their patriotic songs too blows spirit up and comrade nationalism glory!

  • that gun looked really art-nuveux (if that's how it's spelt)

  • That macine gun looks really art neuveau

  • Great collection and items. I notice that with the standard helmets, there was an early war " shiny " one that had both the helmet decals / insignia ( on each side ) and then a later helmet ( mid war ? ) that only had one decal - the Luftwaffe Eagle. I had always assumed that the helmets had either both decals or none at all. Regards.

  • Hi there. Glad you liked my Video. Just to help you out, If you don't mind. The shiny Helmet is a 1939 dress uniform helmet. At that time both decals were used. Even when they stopped useing the BLK, White and Red decal, for the most part, unless near the end of the war you could find at least one decal. Even thought they were told to remove them it was not always done . Thanks ...... V V

  • @fangman666 No worries thanks and regards.

  • gutt 5*****

  • Hi there ....... You are 100 % right. A few years back there was a time I did buy a few things on E-bay. I got some awesome US WW2 posters that were very hard to find. I was able to tell right away just from the pic's that the posters were real. I do see alot of German money and stamps but I have so much of that already. Now and then I still check for that odd ball thing you might find now and again. Once again thanks. Take care and happy hunting ........ V V

  • 4:28 :D :D :D

  • very wonderful collection youve kept it nice and looks amazing! great video im very into world war 2 but i dont have a collection myself, hoping to some day.

  • Thank you so much for enjoying my video. In my 25 years of collecting I have seen many things that I would of loved to have but they were not in the condition that I wanted them to be in. I'm not saying all that I have is mint. But I learned a long time ago its better to have one mint item then 4 or 5 so so items. I do get many things from friends and family. In that case I don't care what kind of shape its in. Items that I have that were in Combat might be in bad shape but love it anyway... V V

  • In ww2 the Canadian and American soldiers formed the most feared unit of ww2.The "BLACK DEVILS" a name given to them by the germans.Their crest they wore looks like a spear head, with USA across the top,and CANADA going down the crest.I would love to have one of those, but they are hard to find.

  • i'm a ww2 colelctor too , but the difference betwin you and me , you buy your "relicts" on ebay , i buy thems at bourses and private peoples , thats the difference , i can give you some pics abouts SS helmets and FJ helmets , everybody think they're real but they are fakes , maked in tchecoslovaquia...

  • I won't delete. Like I said the first time. I will leave all of your post up so everyone can read them and know that your not a collector. You may think you are. I don't buy from E-bay. I have seen more real Military items here in the U.S. then you will ever see in France. People think because my items look so new they must be fake. Like I have said many times. I have been Collecting Military for over 25 years. I know what real relics look like. I can still see you don't know ANYTHING.... V V

  • only copy...

  • It is a shame you have no idea what your talking about. I take it your not a Military Collector. If you were you would be able to tell what is real and what is fake. I'm going to leave your comment up so other people can see that you know NOTHING !!!!!!!!! ..... V V

  • @fangman666 you can delete my post again but i said it to you again , dont buy bullshit on ebay like the most of "ww2 collectors" if i can say are doing it , the ritterkreuz is a copy from spain , the LW uniform is in sold at paratrooper.fr, the feldmutze too, so go in some bourse and see real relics , not copys from tchecoslovaquia...

  • I have no more to say about this guy ..... V V

  • @fangman666

i know in the usa peoples have things we dont have in other country because usa is the best ><

whatever your "collection" make me laughin' everytime i see it ...

  • If you say your a Collector it is a shame you can not tell what is real. Thats O.K. with me. Like I said... I spent way to much time on you already and you don't have to worry about seeing my Collection anymore ...... You are now DONE ... I was going to try to help you and give you some names of some Military dealers here in the U.S. But now .... Because you have no idea what your talking about. You can keep trying to find the Fake stuff in France .......... V V

  • is it the song from Hogans heroes

  • The first song is from Hogans Heros ( Love that Show ) .... The 2nd song is a old german luft. song and the last song is from the movie The Great Escape ..... Thanks for checking out my Video ..... Take care .... V V

  • @TheWW2nerd Hogans heroes ftw ... I never saw germans and americans and brits work together soo good :)

  • @TheWW2nerd indeed lool

  • Excellent items!!!! Greetings from a collector in Greece!!!

  • very cool

  • Lots of good stuff! I also like the choice of music, especially the theme from Great Escape, one of my all time favorites

  • That is off the chain!!

  • hey can someone tell me where you get ww2 memorabilia? like the medals and helmets and what not that have actually been used or belonged to someone? especially the Nazi stuff

  • @DARTHK4B0B International Military Antiques . com it has everything German(helmets, kepis, uniforms, everything even an mg42, go there it even has stuff from other countries. I just bought a pair of HEER Decals for my m35,got it in 3 days.) oh you need an account but its free to make one, stuff there is real cheap the m35s there are only $75.00.

  • I always liked the look of the German helmets. I also like the semi-sphere Red Army helmets.

  • I failed to mention that there are 17 different edged weapons from daggers to Hitler Youth knives and bayonets. There may be more items since I'm writing this from memory.

  • I have a very nice collection of German militaria from WW2 thanks to my Grandfather who "liberated" numerous items from their former owners. This includes 4 helmets or "stahlhelms", quite a few wrist watches, several officers hats, 6 Luger pistols and one P-38 double action semi-automatic pistol. All these are in 9mm. There are three Mauser K98 rifles in 8mm, all with the eagle and swastika stamped on them. There are countless uniform buttons as well as other minutiae.

  • THAT WAS YOUR WIFE!

  • i like the wight helmites that are german

  • whats the best color for luftwaffe helmets.

  • Love em or hate them you gotta hand it to the Nazis. They had without a doubt the coolest looking uniforms

  • Nice video ! Any items for sale :)) Let me know

  • where buy the american boys this stuff?

im from germany, and here you cant buy a helmet with hakenkreuz ..... :(

you can just buy old things from old leave houses.

  • @RushEvolution I have no idea but wtf is a leave house?

  • It all looks new

  • WOW you are to lucky. I am getting an elite officers cap as well. tell me were you got it all.

  • where can i buy this for a good price

  • i have original helmet from ww2 believe it or not

  • these articles remind us of how Germans have committed such barbaric war. they should not be appreciated at all

  • Impressive! Do not listen to people who can't appreciatte fine pieces of history like this. Despite their negative background i find german items stylish and beautiful. Where can i buy any german helmet in as good conditions as yours? Couldn't find any in ebay... Is it up to luck already? Greetings from Venezuela

  • I agree with you.

  • Comment removed

  • Hugo Boss rocks !

  • wow,nice

     iron cross

  • I think I fell in love.. . with those helmets

call me weird but it's good to see some Luftwaffe Gear

  • nice , what do you think of my waffe shell?

  • Ya gotta wonder about whoever posted this and called it the great escape when it's the theme from Hogan's heros..get it right children

  • Yes ......... But !!!!! The last song is from the movie The Great Escape .... As you can see at the begining of the song I show the Black Luft.grounds crew hat. The kind they used. Take care .... V V

  • @fangman666 OK fangman you are right...the last song was the great escape...by the way...you have an very impressive collection!

  • @mtcubs1 they no notsing

  • Yes, the first song is the theme from Hogan's Heros but the last song is from the movie The Great Escape ...... Hope you liked the video ...... Take care ........ V V

  • @fangman666 You are right and my apology! That is a fantastic collection. Do you put it on display at all? It would be a great display to show high school kids

  • It is funny that you say that. I do go to many school's and help kids out to learn a little bit more about what people had to go though, so we can live in Freedom. We learn how to move forward by learning from our past, not to make the same mistakes. Once again, Thank you so much for enjoying my Video. Take care. V V

  • @fangman666

I don't agree with using Hogan's Hero's music for this vid. Awesome collection though.

  • Hi there .... Not sure why you say that .... In Hogan's Heros the Luftwaffe are the ones that saw after them .... I thought it would fit right in ..... It is also one of the shows that I saw alot of when I was a kid ... I feel it was one of the shows that help me to get into collecting .... Sorry you feel that way ...... Thank you for the kind words on the collection .... Like I said my US items mean just as much to me but have not had the time to make more videos ...... Take care .... V V

  • The Fallschirmjager Stahlhelm dosn't look to nearly as cool as the M35 Stahlhelm.

  • in my opinion the Nazis were a huge army and did kick butt until 1945 but they were still horrible people and deserve to rot in he'll for what they did. the third riech will never be forgotten

  • That's a piece of history. Thank you for the vid.

  • dont forget the russians they took the war to their land faster then anyone one.

  • Well, dont say that, nazi Germany kicked American and Russian butts until 1945, the 3rd Reich was so big and powerfull so they needed help from other countries to even reach Berlin

  • what matters is at the end of the war, who wins, and who loses.

  • @MannenQ You better read some history. The allies (American, British) etc. drove the Germans out of North Africa, Sicily, Italy (who then surrendered) landed in France drove the Germans from France, Belgium into the the 3rd Reich. The allies were also fighting the Japanese in Asia at the same time.

  • @Duversant You're forgeting the Soviets.

  • 12/07/2009 Today is Pearl Harbor. May we NEVER forget. Hug a Vet. Fly the Flag. God Bless the U.S.A........ V V

  • do you think God still blesses America? Just curious.

  • Yes, without a doubt

  • Good words. Thank you!!

  • Very nice collection. I love the belt at 3:00

  • do u have any german stuff for sale like a helmet or something

  • 11/11/2009 ..... Today is Veterans day, Lets not forget all those that gave there life so we can live in freedom. God Bless all service men and women. GOD BLESS THE U.S.A. ...... V V

  • whats the name of the song?

    haha,like it :P

  • theres a neighbor of mine whos from germany whos dad survived the entire war, and he has a poopload of stuff from the war. he even has a mg42, and a mp40

  • un not being in your busyness but arnt mp40s illigal

  • some states they arebut collecters can buy them

  • the music comes from hogen heroes

  • Great collection, I to get strange looks when I tell everyone I collect Nazi German Items, Yes it might be dark history but Its still history, and the Germans had top of the line equipment. Alot of people have said if the war was about quailty not quanity we might be living in a different world.

  • Quality??

M1 Garand, Colt, Browning, P-51 Mustang.

The Germans were using bolt action Mausers from WWI. Their innovative weapons were either unreliable or virtually non-exhistant. They did have quality uniforms and daggars. Didn't help them win the war.

  • hey laken ever thoght of the sgt44 or the mp40 orrrr thhe fg42 and persnally my favrite the MG42?!?

  • My fav. has always been the MG34 ....... I have one in my Collection and all that goes with it. Just picked up a Cammo Ammo Box. Take care .... V V
