If Brad Pitt could have gone into the future at the time of this taping, he could have taken 1/10th of what he made with his first box office hit "Seven", traveled back to 1987 and bought this show. Fast forward to 2012, and he could easily buy a network.
I wish I had been a teenager in the 80's,great television, great music, great movies and I might of had a chance with Tracey Gold she was and still is smoking hot. But on the plus side I got to grow up in the 90's the last great decade to be a kid. I feel sorry for generation Z they don't know what good entertaiment is.
I used to watch this show. I think I remember this episode, I didn't know that was Brad Pitt. It's weird to think that he was on one of my favorite shows back then, especially since I don't like him.
This just brought me back to the times when I used to get out of school just to watch this program but now I can catch the ooops like in time 3:39 when Pitt sat on the snow.
@Michigan1985 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise. If the righteous will be recompensed on the earth, how much more the wicked and the sinner. Prov.11:30-31 Kirk is wise, you are wicked. your recompense is coming...sooner than you think.
@ewsh6070 Quote all the bible verses you want, but did you really have to call me wicked? I don't care if someone is christian, it's his stance on science issues and a few others that makes him a nut. If your god is going to be offended by my non belief and send me to hell, he's more wicked than any of us combined. And don't tell me he doesn't send me to hell. He makes the rules.

Brad Pitt took voice coach lessons to get his voice to drop because it was high well into his twenties...see Johnny Suede (1992). He made a conscious effort.
@chillmatic if you're talking about Brad Pitt, he was 23 years old in this episode. This is from season 3 episode 9 called 'Who's Zoomin' Who?' that first aired on November 10, 1987. He would later appear again in a different role in the season 4 episode 14 episode that first aired on February 8, 1989, called 'Feet of Clay' when he was 25 years old.
@YAhomeGURLGG they cut them out so they can fit in more commercials. i think i heard this as "Frasier" was debuting. i seem to remember that was the first show to not have the traditional long theme song intro. the reason they gave was that viewers were becoming bored, and thought they would prefer a jump right into the action. i think it has more to do with commercial space, as shows on HBO, where there are no commercials, typically have an opening, i.e. weeds, entourage, etc.
at 57....it was originally writen..."carol admit it, the river of passion has dried up like my mothers vagina"

My family used to eat dinner while watching this. It was the only show we could watch while eating dinner. It was such a great influence on our family. Especially how every episode had a lesson to learn. Remember the 'Say No' episode where Boner and the other guy tried to pressure Mike into doing drugs at the big party? When Mike said no, it was coolest thing to me. It made me never try drugs or alcohol all through high school. And then Kirk became a born-again Christian. Great role model!
Actor Andrew Koenig -- best known for his role as Boner on Growing Pains -- was found dead Thursday in Vancouver, B.C. police said the actor's body was discovered "in a densely wood area ... unseen from the path" by "family and friends who initiated their own private search." Foul play is not suspected.
"My son took his own life,"adding that his son had been battling depression."Don't ignore it; don't rationalize it," he said in regards to depression. "Extend a hand."
@wonryan Oh he isn't an actor, he's a singer. Robin Thicke is Alan Thicke's (the father in Growing Pains) son in real life, but he is very handsome and he sings R&B type of music. :) You can look up his videos on here if you want to see him. :)
Gosh, What a startlingly asinine question. Haven't you ever checked out something, just out of out of curiosity, realised you didn't like it, and abandoned it?
I guess not. I gues you're one of those rare individuals who were born with all taste and opinion fully developed.

Hey, look--it's TV...I think I remember that. Real shows about families instead of sleazy reality shows about people deciding who they are going to screw and screw over. For me the Eighties seemed a lot like the fifties--they were fun.

Hey, look--it's TV...I think I remember that. Real shows about families instead of sleazy reality shows about people deciding who they are going to screw and screw over. For me the Eighties seemed a lot like the fifties--they were fun.
