  • A miracle in every meeting.....just that some people go home and jump out of a 3rd story window head first because of the guilt of "relapse" Seen it more than once.

  • I saw a commercial on TV last night for AA.

    That's promotion, not attraction.

  • Blaming the failure of a faith healing cult on anyone is nonsense. AA claims not to be religious, then tells you to pray for miracles. It's laughable.

That's why most people laugh at AA.

I was sober for a really sucky year in AA, but not happy. I am now three years sober, I'm much happier, and I don't waste hours a week on evangelical faith healing meetings.

Taking responsibility for myself, rather than relying on imaginary friends, is exactly what I did when I left the cult.

  • This video tells the truth about 12 step.

It's just evangelical religious nonsense behind the bait and switch of recovery.

If prayer worked, it would have already worked for the religious drunks.

For the rest of us, it doesn't work because we don't believe in magic.

  • You sure must like their logo, since you're using it to advertise your own videos

  • @tommym202 Using the logo is just to get the attention of people with alcohol or other drug problems.

It got your attention, didn't it?

  • @ndrthrdr1 Yes... so how do you feel about decieving people and wasting their time?

  • @tommym202 Using that logo isn't deceiving people, since 12-step is the subject of the video.

For people being conned by an ineffective "program" that claims "Rarely have we seen a person fail ..." when the truth is that rarely do they see people succeed in their faith healing cult, telling them the truth is not wasting their time.

Sitting in a room full of mostly depressed people on their way to relapse, being told that an invisible wizard will help them - now that's wasting their time.

  • @ndrthrdr1 AA doesn't succeed or fail. People succeed or fail. Rarely have we seen a person fail who has THOROUGHLY FOLLOWED our path. People who work the entire program usually have long term success. People too lazy to work the program fail, and those who blame it on AA or anyone else other than themselves are childish and not ready to take responsibility for their own issues. Life is good when you do the work it takes to make it good and stop blaming other people for your failure.

  • @tommym202 You call those who leave AA (95% in the first year alone) lazy and childish. Did you think that up all by yourself?

No. You are parroting the cult's propaganda. AA's "program" involves turning one's will and life over to an invisible telepathic being with magical powers.

If your Higher Power isn't telepathic, it can't hear your prayers. If it doesn't have magic powers, it isn't able to magically restore you to sanity. Most people can plainly see the absurdity of the AA steps

  • 12 step groups and religions dont use any force, they are voluntary. Governments are people who are using threats and violence to force people to pay for their services. Taxes are not voluntary. Its pay or else. Normal people provide their services in the free market without using violence. IF the services of government are so valuable then why cant they provide them like normal nonviolent people.

  • Faith healing doesn't work. The rest is smoke and mirrors. Gods are imaginary.

  • What's up with the computer voice? Speak and Spell?

  • The magical program that cures schizophrenia, OCD, PTST, or whatever untreated mental illness you may possess.

  • @MrSexyexercise Not exactly

  • AA is nothing more than a dogmatic religious cult that has nothing to do with spirituality but everything to do with repetitive dogma. Being "sober" doesn't make you saved, it just means you don't drink. There's nothing to do to get sober except to detox & not start drinking, there is literally Nothing to DO. If you drink poison, stop, that's all there is to it. The rest is you taking responsibility for your life free of AA cult dogma.

  • I have had the 12steps put my "spiritual disease" into remission. I have also come to believe the world is flat, the toothfairy and the talking snake theory. So there! Take your logic and science and see where that gets you!

  • @theworldsgreatest111

    See, It worked.

AA depends on you buying the spiritual disease snake oil concept.

Did you get a receipt?, you will need it in order to return your purchase.

    Oh, by the way.

The untweeked statistics prove that more people get and stay sober in spite of recovery programs, rather than because of them.

    p.s.

If my doctor wanted to treat my real disease with 70 year old technology that has a less that 5% success rate, I would run like hell.

  • WooT!

Stalking like serial killer. agecooper's comments have about as much merit as your public delusion here. You fuckers have been owned so many times over it is not even humorous anymore.

I shut down comments because the points I have posted have yet to be refuted in anyway and I was getting sick of repeating myself to the deliberately dishonest. Instead you think I should be willing to accept your abusive hate speech because you are just too stupid to grasp a simple logic problem.

  • Again more adhom because that is all you have, you never once refuted a damn thing he posted so I think you are just whipping a tantrum

    Nice spiritual principle.

He blocked you for the same reason I did - You are a self righteous Self important bitch Between you are agecooper neither of you would know the truth is it beat you in your wet brains.
