I don't mind a beginner, except that these videos are supposedly walkthroughs. Someone this stupid has no right making a walkthrough to anything. The guy wandered around for about 1:50 before flipping the switch, then continued wandering the OTHER way while Dom and Baird killed all enemies on the level below. This is the same guy who paused for about a minute in the last chapter and used the Guide button the chapter before that. Give me a freakin' break...

The "Lambents" are Locust that were exposed to Imulsion directly, which makes them glow in the dark and--in some species such as Wretches--explode. Why the Queen wants them dead? Who knows. Probably simple racial tensions.

Not really. Black people and white people are only as far as aesthetic details go. I'm pretty sure that the exposure to the Imulsion made the Lambents a mutant offshoot.

I mean, if no one else noticed, they're ignoring the Queen. That's why the other Locust are killing them off: the Lambent no longer answer to the Locust Queen.
