Some parts didn't sound that good and I think it's because you lost control of the bounce for a moment. Practice finger control and do a lot of single strokes 10 minutes a day with a metronome 5 minutes with left hand starting the beat and the other half for the right hand starting the beat. Anyway, good playing. I also recommend playing some more complex styles, rock drumming kind of bores you after a while since most of it is just keeping the beat.

yes, it's a live version from 1987, and they use to play faster for live performances. I did not speed up the song.

Fine drumming. I do realize it's a cover of a live version which I haven't heard, but your drumming is hardly similar to that of the studio track; the snare is thouroughly different. Could be the live version is different, or could be it's not really a cover

snarejunkie : you'll enjoy this kit. easy to tune, sounds great with G2 clear, EC2 coated (ok, very mate sound..but if you play metal it's fine, or for floor tom). The snare is particularly terrible!! great sound, sharp, precise (perfect for ghost notes), but still rich and warm. i can't imagine how a 14*6.5 would sound..it must be fantastic. and it tune easily and record very fine!

Daniel Lanois even stated that Larry is living drum machine. Nobody can keep time as accurately as him.
