  • Very nice video, high quality.

  • WHERE IS THE REDMAN ALBUM?!?!?!?!?

  • Always the dollar$, always the fuckin' dollar$.

  • WORD!!!!

  • I see JS's point. But artists are free to do what they want and don't really have to answer to anybody. I respect his opinion, but if we're all going by his standards of "keeping it real", then he needs to call out Skribble, Spinbad, Stretch, Riz, Eli, and all the other dj's that don't play new hip hop anymore. If he does that, then I'll see he has real artist integrity. Good album btw.

  • Part of what he is saying is true, especially about how Mic Geronimo sold out and flopped.

But deep down, i think it's more of thing of certain people wanting the sound of 1994 to live forever and gain mainstream acceptance regardless of how non-progressive it is.

No one has written the manual on how to crossover successfully so you cant fault artists for trying to get the money to achieve their dreams.

Plus there's not ONE lyrical, conscious, underground MC that wouldnt want Puffy's money

  • You can't really sit there and tell me that Hip Hop is better now than it was then though, truth is a lot of it is a lot worse now, especially in the mainstream but there are still some good artists out there.

  • This is the TRUTH!

  • You're the one that's talking in your shitty ass because nobody hears you...you dumb fuck!

  • WORD UP, SALUTE DJ JS 1

  • ok look at it this way, they've done all they needed to do to get your respect(common etc.) . This is a business they also have to eat and feed their families. all these lyrical rappers (which is all i listen to and respect) i dont blame them for wanting to get some money in the end.

  • i guess you don't believe in artistic integrity. There are ways you can do exactly what your talking about without alienating your fan base.

  • Couldn't agree more with what he's sayin, especially about Common. Hurts my soul to see one of my favorite MCs ever put out the fake shit he has lately.

The album is dope though; the track with J-Live, Ak, Supa, and PackFM is worth the price of admission alone. Hip-hop, front to back.
