Wow so many adaptaions and different versions of WitchBlade are everywhere. im glad TopCowProductions made the American comic since thats where it started. we all need chicks in armour once in a while.
I don't know I really can't say that the manga itself sucks. but the ending was really dramatic I personally think the manga took more time to make things right.. then the anime, the anime has alot of quistions! But they both are really well done
it's not in color, i actually bought the first issue yesterday evening.. I love it very much, however I am wondering how to get my hands on those color pictures displayed.
You've probably figured this out already, but just so others don't get the wrong idea, Witchblade Takeru does exist in color. It was originally B&W in Japan, but Top Cow had Blond color in the artwork so that it could be repackaged and sold to your average American comicbook junkie.
In the US, you can find two versions: one sold as a manga in B&W, and the other sold as a comic in color. IIRC, the manga sells for $9.99 while the comics sell for $3.99 but contain only one chapter a piece.

I liked the Anime and the Manga even if they absolutely are two different things, but I'm a fan of the comic at heart.
