Thx Mr Ratface, Weird to say that in afriendly way ;-). I guess I'll learn about it when I get further into the manual. Thanks again for replying, and again you're really good at this !!!
Nice, really nice! I've also dug up my old Mc303, and to my great surprise I now finally understand how it works :-). I would like to ask you how you overwrite the L10 bank. Is there there a way to get rid off the preset songs?
@Linemicks One of the big downfalls to the MC 303 is that you cannot overwrite presets, no matter what you do. The L bank is a place for storing pattern settings. For example, this pattern is actually U10, but I saved a pattern settings version on L10 so that when I switch to it during a performance, it has everything muted the way I want it for the intro. So it's not actually a separate pattern, it's more of a settings memory/place holder.
@luvligirl84 Thanks! It's one of those machines that keeps calling you back even though you know it has lots of limitations. Somehow it always manages to surprise you.

People go on about how limited this machine is but it's how you use it as proved here. Good musicians can make a bontempi toy keyboard sound usable.
