  • How many leopard geckos can live in a 20 gallon tank

  • @tran831 1 adult, 2 babies. if you were to go to a 30g tank though you can have 1m2f or 3f

  • True its a really big risk of keeping sand n the tank I have 10 ln lepard gekos and one died.then my uncle told me that you are not sapossed to use sand I was tryin to feed it millworm it didnt eat for three mounths so I feed it crickets good video nice tips

  • U r not sapossed to use sand in the tank its a big risk because it can kill them

  • @dejandnysha if your refering to impaction like so many youtubers do it is a very rare case and even though it sounds harsh it is natural. leopard geckos like on sand and small rock in the wild and if i remember correctly it is 7/1000 die from impaction

  • @lkj802 no they do not live on sand in the wild. and are you agreeing with using sand for leopard geckos?? please dont give out facts you dont know anything about

    thanks

    \thanks

  • @Reptileden98 the leopard gecko is from iran, pakistan, iraq and the rest of asia. the majority of them are found in the areas that have a desert like look to them such as iraq and afghanistan. they are used to sand in their lifestyle in the wild. i rest my case

  • @lkj802 the rest of asia? im sorry but thats wrong. they have not adapted to sand and no, they live on rocks, or pebbles.

  • OMG R U SERIOUS! THTS CRAZY!!! YAY! and another thing do you mind doing a video on how to sex ure bearded dragon??? plese? =)

  • how long do they live for?? =)

  • Nice leopard geckos:)

  • how many gallon tank do you reccomend for 1 of these geckos?

  • @TheNinjacat10 just 1? probably just a 10 gallon tank, unless u get a jumbo, then id probably go with a 15 gallon

  • Could I put sand in my cage and feed my gecko in like a container?

  • @TheAwesomenarb You might be able to, if you do put sand in the tank remember that it is a risk.

  • Mines just black and yellow, black and yellow, black and yellow literally. The tails just black and white...

  • I was wondering, are you able to get different patterned normal leos?

  • well done for sayin to go with wots safe rather than wot looks good! u obviously look after ur leos. its gd 2 hear, i care a lot bout my leo but thers so much contradicting info online that it can get confusing, lucky i have a friend whos dad is a herptoligist( sorry if spelt wrong lol)

  • its a damp hide which they use when there shedding.

  • wat is that human hide thing could someone explain please?

  • I love you geckos!! they are cute and healthy!! good job!

  • horriable keepers torturing there animals thumbs up for Pets2sales!

  • you can also use a digestable sand which is totaly safe and wont impact for lizard but deff play sand or ne other sand is a no no prob wouldnt go with paper towel they cant even dig out there hide mine love to dig kinda like people who say paper is a proper substrate for savys when its proven they do better and live longer with the 24 inces of dirt to dig in makes there viv closer to home! great video by the way you geckos look very healthy great to see another proper reptile keeper too many

  • pie

  • ive just bought a baby lg and (2days ago) and it wont eat is it cause its in a new tank?

  • sam3d they can but srry to break this to u but they prob wont

  • how can you tell how old your leo is ?

  • Ive herd geckos have lived for 25 + years, that's is what i want to know.

  • @sam3d I've pretty much heard the same. 7 years and 20 years is a huge difference lmao

  • 2 males dont normally fight unless introduced to a female

  • im watching this cause i just got a gecko todaY AND IM A KID

  • @Linkwizard643 not harmful, you just can't sustain a leopard gecko off of only a meal worm diet. feed crickets 95% of the time.

  • hey im just wondering do u have the have a moist hide? and if i use a container like u hav for moist hide do i need to change paper towels everyday?

  • isnt a 2ft tank/vivarium(20 gallon) to small for 2 leopard geckos for the rest of its life,? im told they can grow to 10 inch each maybe more.

also i thought theres supose to be 2 hides cool andf hot ends, i dont think a humid box is needed there constantly.

  • @kaleluk31 no they can get a max of 9 inches in special blooded ones 20 gallons good for 2

  • CAN YOU PUT 1 LEO IN A 20 GALLON. PLEASE RESPOND

  • @joshinator800 Yes you can. But it is unnecessary....

But they do love more space! :)

  • @joshinator800 that would be good for 2 leos :D

  • What about a five gallon

  • @EricAlexsports no the smallest for 1 baby gecko is 10 gallon at the smallest for an adult is 15 i think

  • @EricAlexsports no, 10 gal. is minimum

  • As you said in this video having two male leos in one tank they will kill each other, will this always happen? I have 5 leopard geckos(3 females and 2 males) and they're all in a 75 gallon tank. They are actually always by each other..

  • @ReallyCaitlyn It depends on how old they are and in a tank that big, the males might not feel as territorial. If you have males and females together I hope you're ready for baby geckos. When they're young they won't fight, but after they mature (about 8 months) they'll most likely start fighting. I don't think it's worth the risk since they can get along for a while and randomly just start hating each other and rip each other to shreds.

  • @treyman91996 Of course it would he says in the video man

  • @treyman91996 yes it would also work for atleast 4 geckos

  • to iamcairnsy. i think the hot side should be about 40oc and the cold end should be about 15oc

  • nice vid man i really learn alot and a nice gecko you have there

  • nice vid i learn alot but how small of a tank can they fit into

  • can anyone help??? how hot shoud the cool end be??? and how to you heat it to the correct temps??? im worried bout my new 2 year old raptor leo as he hardly eats . the cold side feels really cold

  • I have the same gecko type, only a girl.

  • what type of leo is this?

  • @tom12349333 he said a circle back !! : )

  • are they still for sale

  • @jazzygurl925 yes many morphs =]

  • hey really liked this video ive only been into snakes all my life but im going to get some loepard geckos now umm i have a question u said that u have to dust the feed b4 u feed it??? with the lil container and u said depends on how old is the gecko??

  • @jrod2593 you dust the crickets or mealworms with calcium
