The viewer 2 is a brilliant invention. The first impression i had when i viewed the new client screen i thought it was a web-browser, and it works like one in my opinion. People complain too much that the lay-out is complex and useless, I think not, it works like it supposed to work, the only think i think is not so great is that it crashes too many times.
Torley, you are the best, because your video's are amusing and educational to watch at. Much appreciated.
Yes I see how crazy this viewer is Torley. How can we warn new people to not download it when they join. They need to put a warning on the join secondlife page too. Poor noobs getting stuck with this, I feel so bad for them.
Update of 2_0_0_202291 is demanded by starting by version 2_0_0_202174, and it is demanded further and it gets depressed a warp even if update is completed and it starts.
Great tutorial, Torley. The low view counts on this one explain why so many people on the SL Blog's comments are complaining about the new communication abilities in Viewer 2. I'll give it a try tonight and see how it flies.
Do you REALIZE those flashing pop up windows for EACH GROUP CHAT even when grouped as tabs are MIGRAINE triggers, not transparent and make it almost nessessary to quit any chatty group for your own sanity? Also they can't be disabled!
At least the other way was LEFT TO RIGHT and TRANSPARENT.
men thank you for sharing this!!!

If I wanted my group notifications to show up in a box on my website (instantly) is there some javascript or something for that? Anyone know?

YAH---we definitely need a way to turn those lower corner popups OFF without having to close the entirechat! Seriously. Like, SERIOUSLY :D
So much juicy stuff in this viewer tho, and thanks to Torley can figure it out a lot faster. :)

I like it so far, but it would be cool to have a global visibility turn off/turn on option.
I know there is "busy" mode, but regardless of that, this is something I would like to see. :-)

You got rid of the blue dialog boxes but the dialogs still steal focus and if somebody is spamming you repeatedly, you're crashed.
