  • PAPER MACHE

  • What's cool is this actor actually played Macduff in Macbeth with Ian Mckellen

  • Comment removed

  • During the snake scene, anyone notice the raptor behind it?

  • @hewhowalksinshadows yhaha. If you watch closely you'll notice the man actually bites the raptors chin off

  • You know English men mean business when they whip out a Spas-12!

  • He should have survived, like he does in the novel- where he's even more of a badass. A raging alcoholic, he takes out a T-Rex with a bazooka! In some spin-off sequel comics they bought him back as he "survived" the raptor attack from the film.

  • Jeice

  • Haha Spas shotgun. Use it all the time in COD

  • clever girl

  • Note to self, carry grenades with strings wrapped around the pins that are tied to your fingers when hunting dangerous animals. That way, if they get you, you'll pull the pins the moment you're tackled and still be able to blow them up.

  • @Snowman20

That's the stupidest thing I've ever read on the internet.

  • You know, if he didn't give up precious time to say "clever girl," he probably wouldn't have died. lol

  • @5Branden5 Yes but then there wouldn't have been that reaction face.

  • @Raptros @DiabloDelMer1 Ancient man could survive Jurassic Park. Ancient Man didn't sit in front of the tv and watch stuff like Spongebob, Icarly, Myth Busters, Big Cat Diary, Jurassic Park, Snow white, and other stuff. They had to survive every second of their lives. They didn't care about Super Mario Bros. or who won the Football Game. They thought the same as every other creature. Survive and pass your genes on to the next generation. That guy was probably thinking "What's on tv tonight?" be

  • never understood why the fuckin kids survied thi sshit

  • Incidentally, Muldoon was one of the few characters who actually LIVED in the novel. The lawyer that got eaten on the toilet (Gennaro) survived too. Hammond gets eaten by Compys.

  • GET OUT OF THE WAY TREE BRANCH, I'M TRYING TO WATCH THE CLEVER ONE EAT THE OTHER ONE!

  • I can't believe Peter Griffin brought me here

  • I'm getting this 1:35 scene tattooed to my shoulder minus Muldoon. Therefore, whoever is looking at it is in his position and will become dino meat.

  • RIP Bob Peck

  • Raptor: sup fo- HOLY SHIT UR GONNA KILL MEH WIFE DIE!

Ranger: it's your wi-? *gets eaten

  • Did anyone catch the raptor smiling before jumping?

  • @raptros yeah it smiled as to say "tasty"

  • @Ozzythenutter1046LS they actually smile twice in the movie the second one was in the kitchen when the kids escape them that was clearly a sadistic smile.

  • @raptros both well thought of. I think the raptor in the kitchen is a paedophile raptor since he smiles as if to say "kids are tasty"

  • but I thought raptors dont go for the neck

  • That boy got his face bitten off...

  • DBZ Abridged anyone? :D

  • Shame about the tiny continuity error when he looks down the sight...the scene right after he's pulling the gun up to look down the sight...again

  • this guys need that turok dude who kill the raptor whit a knife.. XD

  • Who else knows the meme of this?

  • @Georgethegreat98 What meme? Please explain

  • At that range, I'm surprised he needed the stock on that shotgun. Must have been using slugs.

Still, major props for facing impending death that calm!

  • soooo that was a plan ? the raptors armed an plan?

lol the real ones were that smart? they did look like this?

so many questions that will never be answered =/

  • @gmxgamer yes the raptors made a plan. Raptors in real life were extremely smart-they created ambush plans for there prey. They were also pack hunters-like wolves. Finally, the real raptors were not that big-they were no bigger than a turkey.

  • @horror455 no bigger than a turkey ? D= aah my dream to see a raptor like that its now over =/

ok bro thanks for the attention to my question ^_^

  • @gmxgamer no problem

  • @gmxgamer Don't worry. Check out Deinonychus and Utahraptor. The raptors in this movie were actually based on Deinonychus and I think in the book they refer to all Dromaeosauridae as "velociraptor".

  • @gmxgamer they did all have feathers though.

  • SPAS 12? Ok then!

  • velociraptors looked nothing like this. In real life, they were about half as high, and covered in feathers.

  • @dekdk11 we don't know if they actually had feathers...

  • If his sensitivity was on 10, he could have turned in time to shoot it :)

  • The really sad part is HE was supposed to be the hunter Ingen hires in Jurassic park 2 (instead of Roland...) but the actor was diagnosed with cancer around the time shooting began for Jurassic park 1, so they didn't know for sure if he was going to live (in real life) long enough for the sequel.

So they killed off his character...shame.

  • @Artonelicofanatic2 well atleast he'll live forever through reddit and ragecomics

  • @Artonelicofanatic2 The story for JP2 was not even written or planned for when they made JP1.

  • Lol, faises.

  • The snake just ignores everything and goes about it's business right past the raptor's head ROFLMAO!

  • Be vewy quiet. I'm hunting waptors

  • @misterchesley heheh--AHHHHHH!!!

  • This scene is disturbing because of the screams of the victim while he was pierced in the abdomen and bitten his head repeatedly. It also show how the humans are pretty defenseless against an animal with sharp claws or teeth.

  • @1StIwY1 You know, thats something that has always got me thinking... How in the world then everything seemed to out gun us other than our brains. This guy probably just got owned because he was alone. We are where we are now just because we where able to hunt and work together... We really never had much else going for us, cept thumbs... they helped a lot.

  • @DiabloDelMer1 We still don't, leave your home for a few moments and look around you, the majority of people build their physiques mainly for showing off, they're practically useless in a combat situation because it's likely that they cannot use their bodies properly. we have the military and the police forbid us to act on our own if we try to goin against the law, and looking at it, half of us wouldn't make it out a jungle alive if left all alone without tools.

  • @raptros Thats the thing about humans, if we don't have tools, we make em. We learn about our surronding and via abit of luck, survive solely with that knowledge. Have some faith in humanity, it wasn't just luck that got us to where we are now.

  • @DiabloDelMer1 Thats fine and it should be a rule unfortunately, i don't see current humans possessing such survival instincts, most of them can hardly use common sense much less instinct. And instinct coupled with intelligence is the key to survival.

  • @raptros Hooray for natural selection. Anyways, I doubt you are all screwed beyond belief. The ones that are to dumb to survive will die and even if dumbs ones still survive it would only be by the mistakes of there fallen alliances...

  • @1StIwY1 O...kay.

  • i love that he is aiming the spaz shotgun as if he were aiming a rifle or sniper rifle!

  • @287hey That is how you aim a shotgun >.>

  • These raptors do look scary, but to me the raptors in jurassic park 3 were the best looking with their red eyes and the stripes down their backs.

  • reminds me of clayton from tarzan. Got what was coming to him!

  • ...Clever girl...

  • he died a hero's death! :)

  • *raptor comes out of bush*

    raptor: problem, officer??? *trollface*

    guy: Clever girl...

    *guy gets owned*

    other raptor*: TROLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

  • imagine that raptor with a jetpack and a pair of scissors. mother of god

  • Cancer, I think.

  • For the record, this actor died over a decade ago.

  • RIP to the actor. Badass, my favorite Park character of all time.

  • At least he'll have comfort knowing that he's a meme :D

  • what does marlon brando have to do with this?

  • Nature wins ppl

  • These raptors look more scary than the raptors of the third movie lol. Those raptor scenes of the first film where damn scary. I didn't come near any bushes for a long time when I saw this as a little kid loooool!

  • What a great scene. The shot is actually masterfully done. Been attacked partially behind the leaves gives frightening glimpses of the attack but not enough to see it in detail.

Is he eating his face or is muldoon holding the jaws off? I can't quite see if the raptor is slashing at his body either or not.

  • @SuperVideo50 there were rumors that the character would return in a sequel explaining that he survived, however the actor died of cancer in 99 so the scene remains a mystery if he survived

  • Can somebody tell me the type of gun that is please?

  • @SuperTregs its a SPAS-12 shotgun

  • I know somebody who will have nightmares tonight... me:(

yet i can't stop watching this stuff

  • Keep clicking 1

  • Comment removed

  • And to think if he hadn't taken the time to say "Clever girl..." he might actually have been able to turn and shoot his gun in time to kill the raptor.

  • @revolutionarybum0711

The Raptor reacted to his movement....most likely.

  • I used to hunt velociraptors but then I took an arrow to the knee

  • be wery wery quiet i'm hunting waptors huhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhu

  • clever girl... the dude died with balls of steel, but sadly this scene scared the shit out of me when I was younger

  • @BigMisterApple Balls of steel? Did you hear him screaming??

  • @Mrgdh42 Yes I did... does that answer your question?

  • It's so interesting to listen to the Raptor rape Muldoon without actually watching the scene. Those sounds are HORRIFYING.

  • ..i've always wondered how long he was standing there O_O

  • Comment removed

  • He thought he knew everything about raptors...but life found a way to eat him alive.

  • In the book he had a badass bazooka and in the movie he has a badass shotgun. That is badass :D

  • replace him with Turok the outcome would of been different :D

  • r u sure he knew everythin bout raptors.....................huh sure looks like it

  • raptors attack from the side so yeah check ur 3 & 9 o clocks

  • @trisword01 and 6 - just in case

  • @insertrandomnamenow 4 sure check most of ur clocks or sides

  • He was more of a badass in the novel.

  • r.i.p. robert muldoon :(

  • 0:48 Me: WAAAAAAAAAZZZZZUUUUUPPPPPP!!!!

  • Lol he gets his spas 12 (i think) and then *pops out of bush* hellooooo

  • i would have loaded, gotten the stock out and everything BEFORE you are staring death in the face!

  • @dayton3200 he kept the stock closed becuase it could have affected his ability to move through the bushes.

  • @2005blackpearl good point... i didnt think of that... thanks for not being an asshole and calling me an idiot.

  • Muldoon, should be ashamed of himself. He talked about these creature, and how they should be destroyed. He had them down-packed, up until this scene. It was clearly PIS for the movie sake, just for us too see another death. A great hunter yes...out of character at the last minute....ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!!

  • @ShenSaiya If anything, he had shitty weaponry. Why use a shotgun where you have to put the slug in, cock the weapon, and aim it? Why not use a M16 or AK-47 against a raptor?

  • @Darthbane1999 The shot gun is not a bad weapon. But he got the wrong type of ammo. He should have used "Elephant" shells. But it would not have mattered because he got screwed.

  • @cripplehawk Yeah, something like that might have saved him..

  • @ShenSaiya

Lol I agree, he talked and talked about how much he knew these creatures yet he never hunted them down and just studied their hunting habits with a cow or any other farm animal. But he has never actually seen raptors out on the open and how their intellegence definitely outshines most animals Muldoon has hunted.

  • Dat thing come by my house I keel it!

  • This guy is a true Hunter.

  • Guy: hmmm... ill kill that raptor

Raptor: O_O wtf is he doin?

Rpator 2: GET OF MAH LAWN!

    Guy: Clever Girl...

Raptor: actuly im a boy >:(

  • if only he took note dr. grants lesson in the beginning of the movie about how raptors hunt

  • @tezhoughton

    Guy: but how?

Raptor: some frog changed my gender, long story

  • @tezhoughton How the fuck is this 1 of the top comments

  • @smurphalotte i dunno

  • @smurphalotte Strange attractions...

  • @tezhoughton You know what's funny? The velociraptors all used to be girls...No lie.

  • when i was little, there used to be a small park area by my house, with lots of bushes and trees, after watching jurrasic park and this scene i never went there for a whole month, just in case...

  • @insertrandomnamenow I know, right? Every time I try to go to a forest these fucking Raptors just jump out and ruin it..

  • @STLSportsNews

Nah, still beats slowly burning to death or being flayed alive.

Watching something disembowel and eat you, you'd pretty quickly pass out from shock.

  • Guess he didn't have ''sleight of hand''

  • Yep, being mucnhed on the face by a raptor is probably one of the worst ways to die.

  • i miss my spas 12 :(

  • I have no idea why this is my favorite scene in the whole movie.

  • @JustPazzy : I strangely like it a lot as well. 0.o

Maybe it's the fact Bob Peck's acting makes it pretty damn stressful even though not so important in the movie.

  • And that is how campers die, always surprised by the enemy xD

  • @TheGameConquer Maybe he just underestimated their ability to think and plan.

  • @TheGameConquer In the book he is a game expert with lions etc. The funny thing is you think Grant would have told him considering he said they would do this in the beginning.

  • @TheSHAD0W93 I have read the book... I knew he was that but considering if he was working at Jurassic Park and he knew the intelligence of the Velcorapator he whould know what to expect you know?

  • What a fucking second....... if he was a velcoraptor expert....why didn't he know the velcoraptors would attack him from behind, since they hunt in packs?

  • @TheGameConquer because no one knew because this is the first time that people had ever meet dinosaurs.

also raptors are super smart so they could solve puzzles lol

  • that's the first time I've ever seen a SPAS opened up before

  • I keep on getting confused by this characters name, I thought he was Mr. Arnold but, then he's Muldoon, I don't know I'm just confused about this character's name

  • Muldoon's scream is one of the most realistic I've ever heard. If that really was Bob Peck making that sound, props to him and rest in peace!

  • @AlyssaRae29

When I was a kid actually his screams gave me chills! You really can feel the pain he has to suffer just by hearing.

  • @BlackPlek Exactly! I keep hoping that one of these days when I watch this scene he'll live just so I don't have to hear that scream. That's why I'm making my own fanfiction where he lives because I think he deserves that. Bad directing decision to make him die and I heard there was a theatrical release scene where the raptors chased him into the open, jumped on his back, and broke it before eating him.

  • @AlyssaRae29

Haha, I know exactly what you mean! It seems in Spielberg's movies all the animal experts get eaten by those beasts (like in jaw), so it was obvious that Muldoon had to die at the end :D

Anyway, one thing is for sure: when my kids are going to watch this movie I'll tell them to put their fingers into their ears instead of looking away and listening to that scene :D

  • @AlyssaRae29 A fanfic? Cool! I was actually thinking today, how could Muldoon survive if he didn't die? Maybe he had a posion blade on him and even though he was bloody, he crawled for his gun and shot the other raptor LOL Muldoon was cool!

  • @JurassicJeremyJames Yeah, a fanfic is a way so that I don't have to hear that scream in my head, though I do sort of have an addiction to watching the movie, so I end up hearing the scream anyway.

  • @AlyssaRae29 I hear ya, I've probably seen the movie at least 100 times LOL

  • @JurassicJeremyJames And something interesting I just realized is that the main hunters/poachers from all 3 Jurassic Park movies have died in real life; Bob Peck in 1999, Pete Postlethwaite as Roland Tembo back in January and Michael Jeter as Udesky in 2003. I think I'm gonna go watch the movie again!

  • @AlyssaRae29 That's so sad :( They were all great actors, especially Pete.

  • @JurassicJeremyJames Indeed, they all were!

  • Muldon was one of the most dissapointing "badasses" in all of film history his whole job is wait for it... not to die from the raptors... he ends up being outsmarted by raptors while on the other hand... 2 spoiled rotten dumb children (Mr. Hammond's grand kids) are able to outsmart not 1 but 2 raptors.

    LULZ

  • Bin Laden's last words when he was hunting an American skyscraper in the wilds and got ambushed by a second skyscraper

  • I liked the book better. When Muldoon din't die. He was a badass!

  • SO THIS IS WHERE THE FUCKING MEME CAME FROM

  • @croc560 true with most books/films though, pretty rare for a film to ever be as good as the book.

  • its funny how the raptor just observes, and when it almost closes its eye its like its smiling ;o

  • "Be vewy, vewy quiet - I'm hunting Waptors!"

  • @MajickDemoniack rifftraxs? lol

  • @williebeaty Yeah they're awesome >:D

  • Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, Disney Rennaissance...

We 90s kids had it good.

  • @Disneythievesrock Indeed you did. I missed out on the releases for those, but I ade a point to watch them all. Now, I will make damned sure that my children and thier children watch those films.

    Long Live the 90s.

  • Its funny: In the book Muldoon survives, if I remember right, and he took out one or two raptors with a rochet launcher. There he was epicly badass, here he is just damn badass.

  • I always think of this guy as the Sniper from TF2.

  • :clevergirl:

  • I fell in love with the Spas 12 simply from that scene! Watching him unfold the stock and all.

  • @UnAvengedSoul i know right? So Cool.

  • Gun from COD: Black Ops. 0:39

  • @TheGarfieldxx30000 You mean "gun from Jurassic park is in black ops." Jp came way before black ops. =)

  • @TheGarfieldxx30000

A gun that exists in real life, you stupid fuck.
