Hi everyone. I am from Sweden. We start to learn English in school in the 3d grade. You will also find that people living in countries where the tv shows are subtitled instead of dubbed, people speak English really well. PJ is only love // Peace from Sweden

Fair enough. Knowing a song is one thing -- but I did not assume most Europeans were fluent in English.

This is probably a stupid question but does everyone in Europe speak English? Every time I see an American artist address a European crowd in English, they seem to understand completely.

The songs are on english... Rock generaly is from the US, so, um.. people learn english trough music, films, tv shows...
Me ,for example, I know all my english from Cartoon Network...
