Just finished watching your mud room pick up which brought me to this video. I am the same way. If my house is in a disarray...I am too. I have to have a clean kitchen. I don't like anything in my sink, on my counters, or on my kitchen table. I love your cabinets - the color & detail. Beautiful!
I like watching both videos and tips please don't change anything. I find both is what inspires me. I've cleaned most of my closet, under my kitchen sink, under my bathroom sink, my husbands bathroom sink, well on my way to starting a craft room. I got a label maker and the pack it cubes all because of watching your videos. I've got a list of things still to do, but I just wanted to show some of the things I've done because of your videos. Please don't change anything, it really helps me a lot.

That's very true.When the house is disorganizing so does yourself.I'm guilty on this one.I love to organized but every time I'm in a hurry I tend to clutter and put anything any where.When I planned to organize and took sometime to do it,I feel tired just by thinking that I have lots of things to do that need to be done.Thanks for the motivation.Hope I can unclutter my house and my mind.thanks:)
I like your ideas like using baskets for stuff you need to move to another room. I don't really need to see 20 minutes of another room though- I like your tips rather than seeing you do things. Thanks for these videos :) I'm watching them while I pack to move to the south burbs of Chicago from the city.

Love the timer idea! It really gives you a sense of accomplishment seeing what you've finished in such a short amount of time.
Do you remember the children's show, "The Comfy Couch"? They had this one part called the 10 second tidy and your fast forward cleaning with the music reminded me of that. Hehe :)

Are you going to be doing a "what's in my purse video?" Would love to see what's in your hello kitty make up bag. :) My purple lululemon backpack (just like your carry on) finally made it to my friends place in Buffalo along with all my Container Store goodies. But the weather has been exceptionally bad or I would go get it. I can't wait to see it all, especially that bag. It's been in post office limbo since Jan 3 but now its safe and sound and only 2hrs (and 1 country) away. :-)
LOL i loved the speedy thing i dont know why but it makes me happy, and i totally agree about clutter i feel so unmotivated - so every night i have kind of a rule with myself where if my bedrooms messy i cant go near my bed (ie cant sleep) sounds silly but waking up in the morning with a clean bedroom makes me a thousand percent more motivated to actually get up and do stuff :)
What a great idea! Who would have thought 20 minutes could be enough time to clean up! Oh, I love the idea of using baskets to carry stuff to other areas of the house! Thanks for a great video! I would love to see a 20 minute pick up for the bathroom. Also, could you do a video on kitchen pantry organization?
@OohToBeFree It's on my to-do list for February. The pantry's been a tough for me and the solution I have right now is still not great,but it's the best I can do with the space I have. Stay tuned.

@southerncouponista Thanks! It was motivating for me, too. I've been doing 20 minute pick ups all over my house, testing it out. It's great to just focus but not spend a huge amount of time. As for the holiday stuff, I just can't help myself. I love decorating :)
