  • not gonna lie, these little suckers are a huge NUISANCE in my garage up here in MN lol. Especially during the winter months. They come into the garage to live, and they rip open the birdfood bags and spill seeds all over! They are cannibalistic as well. I have caught shrews in mouse traps and when I go to check the traps, they have usually been torn apart and eaten by other shrews! They need to eat constantly, as their heart beats at over 1200 beats per minute! yes, I said 1200! Mine is 60 BPM
